Well, Vine died a long time ago.
And YT and Insta aren't quite the same thing. 5-10sec clips that you can just scroll through mindlessly.. Insta stories are close but the real TikTok magic is the algorithm that curates videos for you. It gets you hooked. I used it for a while for comedy skits and within 48 hours it learned what I wanted to watch and curated that and it started sucking up all of my social media time.
