I’m a staunch conservative. Landry is a piece of dog shite bought and paid for by the plaintiff attorney bar. Even worse is that he tries to pathetically play both sides. He is a pathetic human being.

I honestly think a R could primary him and probably beat him out.

troop nola and crime a success Pretty good with economic development stopped the JBE trans and COVID stuff. At least started to do tax reform Needs to sign real tort reform to be a true success
C plus. B - at Best But JBE was an F so we are better off but not near where we need to be If he would ditch the trial lawyers he could be a solid governor

Came to post this
They need to recreate what they are doing in Nola for North BR.
The petty stuff he gets bogged down with is embarrassing.

In this state, that is all you can really ask for.

A liar and a fraud.
Yes- I voted for him.

If he signs real tort reform as passed by the House he can bring as many tigers as he wants to LSU games but my guess is Senate will water it down and he will sign some watered down bills. If we get a true conservative to run against him I would vote for him if is a choice between Landry and Democrat have to vote for Landry. State os better off now than under JBE but that is no great accomplishment. JBE was awful and we can’t ever forget that

Landry has been terrible like everyone knew he would… everything is a political stunt that directly caters to a small group of individuals each time… Louisiana is best ran by a Democratic populist Edwards/Long type who’s willing to tiptoe on the other side of the law when needed… state has too many poor people (Black and White) to be governed like other states… like the lie about no state income tax..,only states that could pull this off are states who collect a lot of property tax… Louisiana collects almost none

He'll veto anything with teeth.

He seems to be unfocused and haphazard.
I know being governor of Louisiana can be tough, like herding cats, but he needs to tighten up and get his act together and pull this state out of the 17th century.

I find him to be a very passive and ineffectual governor. Though this is light years better than any Democrat, it shouldn't be hard to enact positive change considering the power the Republican party has. But, we have a Governor who self aggrandizes over very trivial things, and doesn't really produce. He tries to make mountains out of mole hills to make himself look better. IMO, Landry will lead to another Democrat Governor, unless he is primaried by a strong Republican candidate.
He could easily turn things around by making impactful insurance reforms, but we're seeing he doesn't really want to do that because he may lose campaign dollars from the trial lawyers.
I'll vote for him over any Democrat, but any smart viable Republican should be able to beat him easily.

As a fairly conservative guy who voted for him, I give him an F. Total buffoon.

This is the EXACT reason our state is run so shitty. Because morons yearn for the good ole days of our Governor defrauding the people and enriching themselves off of backroom deals. What a stupid thing to say.

Landry would never impose a mask mandate or shut down restaurants. Other than that, there's little to no difference between the two.

Why should the rest of the state pay for law enforcement in NO or BR? Now you see why LSP wants to keep those inspection stickers. They want those funds forever.

Disagree. JBE felt some pressure not to piss off the middle. For some reason, Landry thinks he can take a dump on the right and the middle and suffer no blowback.
I guess because of Trump??? idk
