Just because you believe is Jesus doesn’t make you a Christian. Norman’s added to the bible and changed the bible.

Muslims believe in Jesus, but not as the son of god and part of the trinity.

This is the correct answer.

Mormonism is no more Christian than Islam.

It's basically just a different version of the same scenario. Add a book that changes some of the core doctrines of the previous theology.

The only difference is that Mormons want to be thought of as Christians whereas Muslims don't.

When I made a thread in 2012 saying Romney may be the first non-Christian President, that was a common belief here.

Mormonism is not a branch of Christianity.

This is not a my opinion vs your opinion, its you insisting on redefining Christianity the same as Trans women redefine the term woman.

Your trans analogy is not logical.

A woman is defined by biology / chromosomes. It is clear cut science. You either are a woman or not. If you are born a man, you can have all the surgery you want, but you are still biologically a man.

Systems of belief are open to interpretation by everyone. There are as many systems of belief as there are human beings, because every human being has a belief system that is unique to them alone.

That is not to say that belief systems cannot be grouped by commonality. They definitely can be and are. For example, the Catholic Church is one grouping of common beliefs, and yet every Catholic has beliefs that are unique to them.

So, your belief is that Mormons are not Christians, but Mormons believe that they are.

Human beings cannot sit in judgement of each other regarding their differences in beliefs because humans are not qualified to make that judgement.

If Jesus is an actual entity, then only Jesus can determine who qualifies as a Christian. No human being can make that determination on his behalf.

Does that list define Religions, or ‘Christian’ Religion? I associated and engaged Mormons at their request, and I liked them. Especially their Family-based principles. Albeit, as I recall, I never challenged them re the singularly Divine nature of Jesus Christ as being one third of the Triune Godhead. But maybe I did and that ended the association.

That is a good analogy because both Islam and LDS usurped, modified, and added to Judaic and Christian scripture.

Their founding prophets were both illiterate, polygamists, and received their scriptures from angels.

Are they Christian? Don't they believe that aliens brought the golden tablets that John Smith put in a top hat to get the Book of Mormon? Pretty sure there is a South Park episode about it. John Smith was a Charlatan. Brigham Young was a Thug.
