I think it's also gotten to the point where parents need the ability to rotate sitting in class or put the class on a live webcam where parents can observe from home.

Back in the day, I was very annoyed with my Mom being super involved in my schooling. To the point where she’d voluntarily substitute teach when she had no teaching background whatsoever. Now I’m grateful for it. She wasn’t a helicopter parent (really let me do whatever the hell I wanted so long as I was respectful and not hardcore narcotics), but she gave a damn that I was being taught right.

I do not understand where the line is in schools that delineates where sexual abuse of a child in schools or by adults is crossed. In my opinion, any adult talking to a child about any topic of a sexual nature without the parents expressed written permission should be illegal. These are freaking child predators operating under some strange authority they have assumed for themselves.
