These Congressional hearings are a dog-and-pony show

I didn't watch this one, but it's just grandstanding from both sides
How they all usually go lately
Jim Jordan will write 1,000 strongly worded letters after he makes a few good points, then fail to do anything else
Kennedy will come up with some redneck quip Fox News will air 100 times tonight
AOC will embarrass herself with some nonsense
Nadler will shite his pants
Waterhead Schiff will openly lie
Brandon Gill will have some strong gotchas then go back to tweeting about it while doing nothing.
Rand Paul - See Brandon Gill
All of this while no one ever gets in trouble. What a waste of time and resources.

Bread and circuses.
Nothing will happen. It never does. This is all a dream (erm nightmare for some).

It's a distraction from something else that the politicians don't want you asking questions about until they've had time to figure out a spin.

Political theater so they can play their video clips on X.

Even if Fauci isn’t prosecuted it was worth it to see him shamed before the world,IMO.It was quite a fall from his glory days.
I imagine those neutral on Fauci would reason if he had nothing to hide he would answer the questions.
He looked like he was about to crack a few times.

Yep. They always have some staffer clipping and tweeting while it's their turn to ask questions, hoping for that viral moment
Swalwell and Booker would do their best to get a good viral clip out there always. It's why Kennedy always has a prepared Forhorn Leghorn moment.

It was literally a waste of time
No one is changing their mind on Fauci. Fauci isn't going to jail. Fauci's ego was not hurt.
This was purely pissing in the wind.
ETA: Looks like I was wrong. They will vote on holding him in contempt

If he is found in contempt he will be locked up until he decides he wants to testify.
Step 1……
Step 1……

You seem to be misunderstanding the reality of what they can actually do e.g. Rand, Paul and Brandon gill . They can’t literally just go up to him and place him under arrest. There’s a whole process. The exposure and the embarrassment are the key takeaways, and why this was important. The people deserve to know the truth, whether the truth gets told correctly is another story, but that’s not the fault of Rand Paul or Brandon Gill

All true.
What ever happened with the J6 FBI GHOST VANS that Clay Higgens presented Wray...as if Wray was going to be busted?

all Senators should probably just join the Screen Actors Guild. All these hearings are for show and social media clicks.

This whole "diary" is a ghost in the machine psyop.
We knew all this already.
What are they distracting from?

Since she was named in the talks of contempt
Podesta was given a pass like all democrats.

No, Lois Lerner was never criminally charged with contempt.
politico.com
In May 2014, the Republican-led U.S. House of Representatives passed H. Res. 574 (231–187, mostly along party lines) declaring her in contempt of Congress. This stemmed from her refusal to testify before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee about the IRS's targeting of conservative/Tea Party groups for tax-exempt status scrutiny. She had invoked her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination (after an opening statement proclaiming her innocence), which Republicans argued waived that privilege.

The House referred the matter to the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia for potential criminal prosecution. However, in April 2015, the Justice Department (under the Obama administration) declined to present the case to a grand jury or pursue charges. U.S. Attorney Ronald Machen determined that Lerner had not waived her Fifth Amendment rights with her general claims of innocence, providing her an absolute defense against contempt prosecution.
politico.com
This outcome aligned with precedents where the executive branch often declined to prosecute contempt referrals involving its own officials or related matters.
Separate DOJ/FBI investigations into the IRS scandal itself also closed without criminal charges against Lerner or others, citing mismanagement but no prosecutable crimes.

Lerner retired from the IRS in 2013. While the House's contempt vote was a formal finding and carried political weight, it did not result in arrest, indictment, or any criminal proceedings.
Podesta was given a pass like all democrats.

They could send Fauci to prison for contempt of Congress, and he could be Lois Learner's cellmate. Oh, wait...

Jim Jordan is saying "I will go on Hannity tonight and yell in the Rotunda until I'm blue in the face. But don't worry. I probably won't do any actual legislating though..."

Its pretty clear Fauci released this virus in China on the behalf of the CIA. Trump is unwilling to do anything but Tweet so he will get off just as the Epstein pedos Trump protected.

Unfortunately, I think you’re correct in regards to how these tend to go.
