Trump obviously has compassion for the innocent people of Iran.To those who want him to just blow everybody up ,where’s your humanity. The average citizen in Iran is in a situation not of their doing.Killing people just to kill is evil.

I can't think of one single area of my life that has been negatively affected by this conflict with Iran.
Then you are financially illiterate. its the reason why inflation jumped over the last few months and why we likely won't see anymore rate cuts this year. And thats according to Trump's appointee to the Fed.
You may not think you're negatively impacted, but you're paying more for goods and gas because of it. If you're happy to throw $$$ down the pisser, feel free to send me a check.

The Islamic Republic government has never had interest in permanent peaceful coexistence with those it considers enemies of Allah.
That can either be ultimately faced and addressed now or it will have to be addressed someday later down the road.
Iran, under its current government, will never be something that just kind of goes away and that we won’t have to bother with or worry about.
We could go full 100% “isolationist America” and they will still be motivated to try and destroy us in whatever various ways they can think of because our very existence is an affront to their radical beliefs.
We will never get to a point in time where the Islamic Republic thinks “oh, hey - America isn’t that evil after all, let’s focus our hate elsewhere”.

Amazing that you called someone else financially illiterate and then demonstrated financial illiteracy.

Nope, I'm not paying more for goods and gas is still cheaper today than it was under Biden. To be clear: I'm not paying more. For anything.

They’re going to write books about how Trump ultimately handles the Iranian regime. Thousands of years from now, people will talk about how easily and decisively Trump lead us to victory.
Everything is going as planned. Maybe even better than planned.

And do what with it?
Use it as a forward operating base to provide humanitarian efforts to the Iranian population while still maintaining an offensive against the IRGC. Would obviously require boots on the ground but that’s it will take.

I thought this was already supposed to be happening when we stopped Iran from exporting it's oil??
That is what most thought would happen but Iran kept pumping and letting tanks run over and spilling oil into the PG. At some point I believe we started storing oil in tankers and holding it.
About the time the reports of oil spills the ceasefire came about and all that dialoge dried up so I have no idea what happened for real.

I don’t see what taking Kharg island accomplishes. It doesn’t do anything about the Iranian ability to shut down or fire on ships in the strait. If we’re gonna take islands it should be some of the smaller ones in and near the strait. If all we want to do is frick up Iran’s ability to sell oil we can do that with bombs and a naval blockade.
