Air power alone cannot hold territory nor can it overthrow government systems. It can wipe out field armies, destroy cities, disrupt logistics, and assassinate leaders, but it cannot replace systems. Trump doesn’t have the support for a ground war, the air war isn’t enough to accomplish his goal, so he’s trapped.
