Am I understanding this right?
This country sided with a group that supports cutting the head off a 9 month only baby in the womb over gas being $1 more a gallon because of the Iran war.

I think people vote with their pocket books. The republicans ran on lowering prices the last time and they won. Midterms came around and price on gas, grocery, and housing are still extremely high. Abortion is a horrible practice, but I think most people feel social issues are secondary to economic issues.

I really think a lot of you put an incredible amount of emphasis on Democrats and abortion when the overwhelming majority of democrats are for it and most republicans don't really give it a priority over most things that directly affect their life. This no longer moves the needle much at all.

Congress cannot pass a nationwide right to abortion under the Constitution, much less so for late-term abortion So, no - the US did not side with late term abortion over $1 gas.
