He can't because you aren't. Americans proved they will hand the country over to people who would see it razed to the ground before enduring even the mildest inconvenience.

There is a long list of people Trump pissed off to result in the historic assbeatin' we just took. If you can't figure that out, that's on you.

I voted straight R.
With that said.
Trump and many on the right VILIFIED me and the pro life movement as being the reason we lost elections after RvW got overturned.
It was made ABUNDANTLY clear that they would not push the issue any further nationally and leave it at the states.
Thus Trump and the Rs did it to themselves. They made abortion not a national issue thus allowing “pro life” people to justify voting for a democrat who refuses to talk about it or says “im pro choice but wont push for national bill”
I don’t remember abortion being talked about at all though admittedly I have tuned out politics some. In part because of this issue. The people I put in power to do something finally took a step and then they acted shocked and upset it got done

Am I understanding this right?
I think this is a good example of how deeply immersed political partisans can lose perspective on how ordinary voters actually make decisions.
The average voter isn't constructing some elaborate moral equation in which saving a dollar on gasoline means endorsing the most extreme possible interpretation of the opposing party's abortion policies.
I think the mistake you're making is overlooking how few options voters have in a two-party system to express dissatisfaction with the party they generally support. Most people have jobs, bills, families, and lives to live. They're not going to spend their free time writing letters, lobbying party officials, or organizing campaigns to change their party's direction. They have one practical way to register their dissatisfaction that politicians can't easily ignore: vote for the other guy.
That doesn't mean they've suddenly embraced everything the other party stands for. It means they're dissatisfied with the one they've been supporting. You're interpreting a protest vote as an ideological conversion.

My angle is not about Trump, it’s about every voter’s moral compass.
I don’t worship him nor agree with everything he does. But my beliefs don’t allow me to ever side with Democrats or Socialists

You do realize that federal law banned it about 25 years ago, right?

Make grammar great again!

"It doesn't matter how bad of a job a Republican politican does or how inept they are.. You should always vote for them because they're pro-life" is basically what I got from OP's post.

Good post. Trying to box someone into a single issue and apply it to their entire ideology is no way to vote or govern.
