Maybe you're right. Sadly, I don't think they do anything about it fixing the border until something really bad happens from one of these people coming in. But it is an election year...
I will try to find it but IIRC there is a family about to sue the DOJ because their kid was killed by an illegal immigrant who came across the border. Maybe the suit was filed already but I read something about it last week. More of that needs to happen.

Part of me hopes so. It’s baffling to try to figure out where they are thinking their “win” lies in this fight.
They didn't pay for it in 2022, on top of the highest inflation we had seen in a generation. But even if they sustain a few short term losses, their "win" will come in the form of demographics in twenty years, and permanent Democrat control.

Shout out to the Texas national guard, brave men, frick the supreme court, Biden gonna try and turn this into a fort Sumter moment over people who aren't even citizens, this isn't going to go over the way he thinks this is

Texas will not back down from our efforts to secure the border in Biden’s absence.
They should put the state in jail by putting up large iron bars around the border.

This is how you handle tyranny, front and center defiance!
A good ole’ game of Texas Draw
Is what this country needs!
Let’s see how Biden responds???

Well the Democrats have been ignoring Supreme Court decisions, so now the Republicans are doing it. I don’t blame the Republicans but it’s a scary time for the country.

Well xiden* ignored the Supremes on the gifting of the student loan payments. What did the Supremes do then ?

Unfortunately this is the end game play. They have locked up the majority for the next generation. The only way to stop it is to kick the illegals out. Good luck rounding up 12m and increasing daily.

Biden is now faced with a dilemma. Does he try to be Ike (who federalized the Arkansas NG and called in the Army to enforce the Brown decision in Little Rock) in support of open border invasion by illegals?
The American people are generally apathetic (arguably dumb), but flexing on a state government in support of citizens' rights doesn't have the same panache as fighting to maintain an overt dereliction of duty in favor of criminals.

Love it. I hope they arrest any border patrol agents for trespass and destruction of public property if they try

Not even close. They're not trying to shore up votes for the future, that's an illusion. Voting doesn't matter anymore, but they want you to think it does.

saw a black dude say the other day he has been Dem his whole life but how Dems have turned their backs on blacks in exchange for the votes of illegals. He's not wrong. He's only wrong in that Dems have never done anything for blacks other than empty promises and entrapped them in ghettos through welfare.

Had patient last week who is black and his brother who was staying in the room with him were very adamant that the Biden administration is screwing up this country. The were pissed off about the open borders and money going to Ukraine instead of staying here to secure our borders. The one brother was a veteran and said it was f’d up to spend money in Ukraine while we have so many homeless vets. Very encouraging to see and hear this .
