What’s evident, professor, is that you’re serving up the usual conservatard tripe, and it tastes awful, as it always has.
I love that you idiots sit here and circle jerk as if you’re propounding some new and insightful thoughts.
Maybe if you yell loudly enough, progs will realize that they’re the real Nazis! Keep trying. It hasn’t worked the countless other times that you’ve done it, but maybe it will this time.

Critical Theory is reflective assessment using historically non-contemporary values manipulated to undermine present endpoints. It doesn't necessarily have anything to do with race.
Rather CT is a revisionist tool targeting some historical event, population, system, etc. It's used to facilitate critique of the target, and assign to that target highly disproportionate blame for contemporary woe.
With Marx the target was Capitalism.
With Nazis the target was the Jewish Population.
With CRT the target is Caucasians.
CT in and of itself is not attached to a political philosophy. Though, as CT is inherently anti-intellectual, its implementation or social incorporation is autocratically dependent.

The “you’re the the real nazis” argument is strange, what’s the point of it it, and it’s an illiterate one.
It also does nothing. Leads to nothing. Accomplishes nothing.

I haver never understood the choice of words to describe their issue.
what does "critical" have to do with it??
what does "theory" have to do with it??
What, in fact, is "it?"
Total random word salad to me - cannot even isolate the platitude or issue being promoted = or denigrated

The Nazis were a right wing conservative reaction to Communism.
Point is, todays violent election stealing, treacherous DemXcrats are coming from a communist composition with Nazi tricks they are using.

The Nazi's were a leftist authoritarian socialist movement in reaction to Communism. I would argue both Nazism and Communism were competing authoritarian left wing movements. They immediately created a powerful centralized authoritarian state, socialized all capital, eliminated religion, had racial pogroms and created racial strife, perpetrated genocide, and acted just like all communists/socialist societies do. Or you can keep saying the National Socialist German Worker's Party has ANYTHING to do with modern right wing in America (it doesn't). Enough with that historical revisionism already. Nazism has absolutely nothing in common with today's American right, which is largely religious libertarian anti-authoritarian anti-State and just wants to be left alone; the opposite of Nazism. It has a ton in common with the modern left, however, and Communist states too as a matter of fact. Socialist Workers Party, right in the F'ing name. Words have meaning

I haven’t seen you add anything to the board in the way of an idea in forever.

Oh no. I'm sorry.
Do you think the OP was adding something to the board by way of an idea? Equating everything the right hates with the Nazis isn't exactly an earth shattering insight. Oh, yeah, we also got the novel idea in this thread that the Nazis were socialists. Wow. I mean, that wasn't even a new accusation when Jonah Goldberg wrote a book about in 2008.

Perhaps you should complain to your buddies on the Left and politely ask that they stop making it so easy to do....I mean, you gotta admit, they're a month or so away from making their enemies wear little gold stars on their clothing.

I don't think this is correct.

Just a different kind.
CRt was started in law school in the 80's, but does spring from critical theory. All stems from the Frankfurt group and the Marxists associated with it.

I don't have any buddies on the left. The fact remains that in this battle of who can yell "Nazi" the loudest, the left wins. We can discuss why that is, I have my own theories, but regardless, they win. It makes me wonder why so many on the Right continue to engage.

They were, but that doesn't really illustrate the complicated intellectual landscape of continental Europe was during the Fin de Siècle. Arguably two of the most influential philosophers of the pre-war period, Heidegger and Schmitt, were regarded as part of the Conservative Revolution in Weimar Germany, and they influenced many later philosophers who would be regarded as left-wing. Heidegger is arguably the biggest influence on philosophers such as Arendt and Derrida, and you can even see the influence of Schmitt on Antonio Negri, who is among the last major Marxist theorists.
