There definitely are white liberals who can’t help but pontificate on racial issues as if they are more aware than everyone else, including black people. I know a couple of them and it makes me crazy at times. The Jim Crow era was awful, and I admire the civil rights leaders who fought for their rights.
But black people should be regarded and treated as equals and not as fragile beings who need the good will and advocacy of “enlightened” white liberals…

Don't leave out the "Oprah" effect.
Most women didn't fall for all that 60s/70s bra-burning feminism nonsense. Especially out in mid-america. It wasn't until you had 25 years of "Oprah" brainwashing that women started going bonkers and embracing bizarro cultural aberrations as normalcy.

And it aint Boomers embracing the black culture through rap and hoodie wearing (in 90 degree weather). That is a uniquely Millennial (and later generations) phenomena. I've never seen Boomers listening to rap music and certainly never saw the interracial dating by Boomers or Gen X as I do with younger groups. Pandering to black sensitivities may be more annoying when done by liberal white women, but its a liberal thing. Not an age thing.

I’m just observing that it seems like much of the drastic culture change started and came about in the 60s and 70s which people identify with boomers.
It’s obviously a way more complex issue than just blaming boomers in general.

An odd thing about black women is that they exceed the obesity rates of all other races and black males. Yet it's fairly recent. I remember watching 'The Colored Parade' during New Iberia's Sugar Cane Festival back in 1960. Their marching bands were preceeded by dozens of baton twirlers and pep squad marchers. Not a single girl was overweight. They were all thin and fit. Those girls are the grandmothers of the obese black women we see every day. Today, majority black HSs have fat cheerleaders at football games.

You guys should go see the movie 'One Battle After Another'. Most of you would probably get up and leave after the first 15 minutes but the rest would watch it over and over. Hard to say.
