You're either ignorant or just being obtuse. Those 2 Clemson teams had DeShaun Watson (who beat us on the last play of the game) and then Trevor Lawrence at QB and were damned good teams. But hey, they were no TCU, right?

Alabama has played in 9 natties since 2000 (actually since 2009) and is 6-3. UGA has played in 3 and is 2-1. We're good.

Why wasn't Fluff Bothwell on the Miss State injury report?

By Thursday they change him from "probable" to not being on the report at all. At one point in the game the sideline reporter said the coaches knew his foot was injured but "hoped he could play through it". After one play they pulled him. It obviously made no difference Saturday, but we are going to have SEC mandated injury reports, then they need to be honest, or other coaches will play games with it too (looking at you, Lane).

I don't know. I'm no AU fan but they were bad last year and the few good players they had all left.They did not hire Golesh until 2 weeks before signing day, and their class ranked 32'nd (team score 225, Bama 302 for comparison). He may turn out to be terrible but none of that was his fault, we'll see.

For years the SEC had 2 divisions. We were in the West and UGA in the East. And our 2 annual crossover games were with other schools. So, many of our meetings were in postseason games.

Maybe, but we don't really know how good Ohio State is yet. The Big 10 just doesn't have big time conference games every week like the SEC does. Doesn't matter, we'll see.

Prior to yesterday, no one had really put pressure on Taylor and he was standing in a clean pocket throwing dimes downfield. Like a lot of QB's, he is completely different when running from pressure. He hurt his foot, but long after the game was decided.
