The media has changed from reporting news to creating it b/c it's BORING

Long gone are the days of Kronkite, Brokaw etc. wherein they just read of a prompter or script, now the media is just an arm of entertainment.
From the packaging, to the programming, the 24 hrs incessant coverage wherein they repeat and repeat the same things over and over again it's all about entertainment.
Think about it. Back in the day you would watch the 5:00 or 6:00 or 10 local with the 30 min nationals mixed in.
Now in a race for ratings you have what we have the need to create scandal.
They feed off it to generate revenue.
That is all this about.

The press is a Democrat propaganda machine. journalism does not exist anymore, or at least it exists on the fringe

But Hannity is over the top. He is there to entertain.
Now granted the Left has cornered the market in this genre of entertainment.

Hannity's a no-talent hack. Usually unbearable to listen to. Repetitive, repetitive, repetitive, and his cadence is fricking horrible.

Hannity is not a journalist. People need to recognize there's a distinct difference between the Hannities and Maddows of the industry and the Shephards and Blitzers. The former are political commentators while the latter are journalistic reporters. The journalists are the ones who are supposed to report news sans bias, and they have strategically chosen to stop doing this completely. It's a travesty, and it is 100%

My thought is those guys do the same as the left with talking points. I'd rather have young blood actual thinkers.

One only has to look at the Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown fiascos to see what the media is doing and why. It's a shame. They are enemy #1 in America right now.

I've said it before, but it all goes back to OJ Simpson. He irreversibly ruined the media which created the environment Trump thrived in.

How about instead of the established dudes "just go away" the younger ones instead step up and take the reins away? Oh wait, they can't, not yet anyway.
The old dudes haven't just walked in a said "gimme". They earned their audiences, their time slots, their ratings. Hard work it really does payoff, just not overnight.
