Somethings are worse than death. Being Bubba's butthole buddy for the next 50 years might suffice.

Damn, dude. How old are you? 1880's Old West age, 1920's Klan age, 1950's Emmett Till age, or 1960's Mississippi Burning age? Honestly, doesn't matter...soon your day will come and the world will be a better place without one hateful soul.

I assume by this unhinged rant you believe I'm in favor of lynching, to which I'm vehemently opposed. I was just stating fact, bro, and how our justice system has changed while a good portion of our population, including you most likely, still believe that we are, in fact, still in the days of extrajudicial killing. I believe this kid is guilty as sin and murdered Austin Metcalf; he should reap what he has sown which is a very long prison sentence. I do not, in anyway, advocate for his murder. The fact remains that if "Melo" had done this to a white kid in the early 1960's there was a very slim chance he would have made it from the venue alive. Instead, he's actually getting his day in court and is being tried by a jury of his peers. Yet his supporters are the ones who are screaming "the only good cracker is a dead cracker" and comparing his treatment as some type of modern-day lynching and that he is being denied justice. Lather, rinse, repeat.

I'm curious, what does this have to do with a murder case?

So let me get this straight. This “kid” was suspended for bringing a knife to school. It wasn’t raining or anything. Nobody was aggressive with him? Self defense is an impossibly weak talking point

Kid is as guilty as can be.

What blows my mind even more is that it sounds like he was ineligible due to his behavior at his own school, and therefore was not participating at the meet anyways. So he had absolutely no reason to be down on the grass instead of in the stands.

Not uncomfortable, just enforce the law.

I don’t know if that’s going to solve this. This issue has been further worsened by Dei policies that have placed them into positions that they do not have the ability to perform. We have thrown money at this issue for multiple generations, and it’s not getting better.

Because the black community has tried to create a narrative that Karmelo was acting in self defense due to racism when all of the facts suggest he’s just a thug

There’s a reason the cell phone video footage hasn’t been released yet. I think we all know why.

There is no cell phone footage according to reporters in the courtroom.

One kid (the one KA was apparently talking to) held his phone up like he was recording- but when asked later if he had the footage said no he was only pretending to record… which is weird, but that’s what’s been reported.

Court resumes today, there are a couple of reporters allowed into the courtroom that live tweet proceedings details.

Hunter is expected to testify today.

We all know why he was under that tent. Looking for items to steal. It happens at every school event these days with away teams. Everything has to be locked up because everything not locked up goes missing.

His prior suspension had run its course.

Also- this occurred in the bleachers where the various teams set up tents (canopies).

This has not been alleged in the courtroom.. plus, there were already 7-8 team members already under the tent when Stabby showed up.

CBS has a great running log of this case. The kid definitely meant to stab the victim. I don’t think he meant to kill him. Kid is stupid and will go to jail. My guess is for 5-10 years, minimum

No weapons allowed at the meet. Have to sign something. Just having the weapon is going to get the kid convicted. Witnesses said it wasn’t even violent until the kid just stabbed him when the victim went to push him.

Nothing racial at all about this

Our tax dollars pay for that school camera that filmed this. Any reason why the public hasn't seen the footage yet? To keep the jury pool as clean as possible?

We better get to see it after the trial.

A knife in the chest lacks the intent to kill?

If he's that dumb he shouldn't be allowed around others u supervised. He needs to wear floaties to eat soup.

I don't think he's that dumb.

So, if a trans goes into the ladies' restroom and a lady goes up to him and tells him to get out, then it's OK for him to murder her?
