How would they know if you bought a pre ban mag or already had it in your possession. Seems like all this does is stop the selling of all high cap mags by retailers. Magpul going to take a huge hit business wise

I think possess in paragraph (1) covers situations if you are given (gifted) a gun after enactment of said law.

The way I read it magazines will be grandfathered for possession, you just can't legally use them.

If this is even accurate, you’re talking about millions of dollars of replacement mags to be bought, and no guarantee that they function properly.
Not to mention that the stupidity of thinking a 10 round mag as opposed to a 15 round mag is going to stop or affect mass shootings.

I wonder if any of the more country baws can comment on this....
say someone had some "recreational" land out in the country. typically used for camping and shooting. not so remote that there aren't several people within earshot. would it be a good or bad idea to discuss any new bans with the county sheriff and their intent on enforcing?
