I'm one of these and there is some fat to be trimmed for sure. However I think the majority of these jobs need to stay. A lot of them are experts in their fields and offer the continuity that is lacking the military.

Living with PTSD and substance abuse is brutal. How much should we pay our veterans who live with that? Yeah a lot can hold a job, but a lot are ticking time bombs. Just take care of the people who sacrificed for America. Its not hard.

I work in a selection only military unit right now and there are some women that could do it.
The military needs to set the same standard for men and women. Everyone above the line is good to go, below the line isn't. No exceptions.
A combat force would still be 98% men, but lets not pretend that there aren't some worthless males in the ranks as well.

Because the average undecided voter is pretty dumb and will believe those ads.
As an NC resident, I love hearing NC is going red, but its tough to 100% jump on board with that statement.
I thought NC was a lock to go all red in 2020, but somehow we reelected a D Governor who I felt did a horrible job during covid.
Mark Robinson is running as the (R) candidate and is becoming a household name nationwide, yet he's several points behind in the fake news polling.
Point is... color me concerned NC isn't above election shenanigans.

Facial rec software is still primitive. Especially in situations where you aren't looking directly at a camera from a close distance.
