re: The goal post has shifted. No longer a jury of your peers. Now it's a jury of your race

Be honest with yourself and with us.
Why do you think having more black people on the jury would have changed the outcome or made it “fair”.
Be specific. Don’t crab away from what you mean to say.
Say it.

The prosecutor’s reported proffered reasons for striking all black jurors —that they were teachers—appears to be pretext.
If you see it on the internet it must be real... I remember seeing that the reason given for black jurors being struck during voir dire was that the blacks responded to the questions that they were too knowledgable of the case pretrial publicity and media stories...
When I saw this it seemed if the tone of it was that they wanted off the jury.

I don't know if the outcome would have changed. I only said that not having black jurors likely put him at a disadvantage.

Explain.
Why.
Be.
Specific.
Stop being a fricking pussy and say what you mean to say.

only know about this case and trial from here, but my take is that it has been racially charged with opinions split along racial lines for white and black. Given that, not having black jurors likely did put him at a disadvantage.
Wrong.
Not gaining an advantage =/= a disadvantage
In other words, it put him square on fair.

Opinions based on nonsense should be excluded as they are way too far from impartial.

Go live in a black country if you want everything to be screwed up for you.

Of course. And when you're a juror you agree to set all that aside and decide based on the evidence. But it doesn't always or maybe hardly ever go like that. Jurors of all races, ages, sex, etc bring those biases into their thought process. None of us can help it.

You are quickly becoming one of my favorite posters for the left here.
Why?
Because you try to sound so intelligent every time you make a completely irrational point. I can tell you use copilot to write the majority if your replies too. It is hilarious.
Fortunately, I speak progressive, and understand every line of bullshite you spew.

Cool that I'm one of your favorites but I just took that pew quiz and it said that I'm conservative, so how far right is this place that I'm seen as "the left".
And no I don't use AI to generate replies. Anything smart or dumb that I say is on me.

The bad apart about the Legal system is it's infected with mind numb Democrats.
It's no secret they are the ones who portray The Constitution as a living breathing evolving document. It's not. It says exactly what it says and means exactly and only that.
Both sides work to choose the jury. BOTH. He received a jury of his peers.

Of course to what? Learn to quote when responding.
You know what can be done to make it go as close as it is intended to go?
Removing the most biased people from the pool.

So you refuse to be honest with the class?

Trump did not have a jury of his peers in NYC.

There are two types of ways for a jury to get stricken by a prosecutor
The first is for cause meaning the juris somehow prejudice
The second is for a preemptory challenge and I do not know how many the prosecutor has but I think in almost every state it has to be a race neutral reason and I will say that school teachers are not good on juries

You only wrote one sentence and I agreed with you. Are you that mentally challenged that you can't follow the conversation and need your words read back to you?

I've responded to you several times but you're either not understanding or maybe you're wanting me to say something else. I don't know what that is so I feel like it's time to move on.

Guess he should’ve murdered someone in New Orleans, Jackson, Detroit, etc.
