Charlotte Thomson Iserbyt was there when Ronald Reagan set the timer for this bomb currently in the process of a massive explosion

They completely removed discipline, called STEM subjects racist, overlook class disruption, promote alternative scenarios on the founding of the country, promote students who cannot pass for “equality”, allow the ridicule of black students who want to learn by other black students who claim they are “acting white”, worry more about gays and trannys than subject matter, allows the teachers to use the students to promote advocacy rather than learning…
And now they are “concerned” over the students being morons??
All the while they want to stop school choice.

My kids learn basic algebra and physics in 3rd grade. They aren't solving differential equations but it's foundational work. Granted, I don't live in Baltimore, but it i do live in a fairly big city

Maybe it's because all the teachers spend their time on Reddit and (especially) TikTok.

School Systems are literally getting rid of Math and English because it "puts minorities at a disadvantage" rather than just trying to get minorities to do better.
Dumbing down the population in the name of "equity" is a losing proposition.

Our most popular “President” (81million votes) told us poor kids are just as intelligent as white kids

We had better get rid of universal suffrage or else Idiocracy won't be just a fictional movie.

put me back as a freshman in HS and I wouldn't know how to 'spell' a bunch of 'names' I see in the papers these days - especially amongst the gansta ranks.
Start with "lil" then avoid all properly spelled words and you're pretty much there.

If you haven’t already listened to the podcast, Sold a Story, you should check it out. It was an eye opener!

How many people between 55 and 74 lack proficiency in reading? I'd be willing to wager that most of this 54% comes from the 16-40 group.

Education going backwards in the liberal utopias while good ole Mississippi rising to the top in literacy. Amazing what happens when you do not socially promote children that can’t read.

All this tells me is that my kid will be light years ahead of other students if I just simply put some work into…BEING A PARENT.
If people want to rely on schools to reach everything, go ahead. Those of us that actually want to teach and supplement our kids’ education will kick the other kids’ asses down the road.

It amazes me that anyone is ever surprised by this sort of thing. "Hey, we need mass government education that citizens of all differing backgrounds are (unconstitutionally) forced to attend together whether they want to be there and value the educational opportunity or not. And it needs to be mostly influenced and regulated by the federal government, which means it's guaranteed to become politicized to the "nth" degree. What could possibly go wrong?"
My questions are, "How could you have possibly thought it would go any differently?"
"Wonder why it took so long to get to this point?"
Things like that.

That doesn't matter. How do they feel about themselves and do they understand they can pick if they want to be a boy or a girl or a dog or a cat?
