Who ever the phucks that assassinated JFK.
Because that gave us LBJ which ignited those stinking hippies who protested the Vietnam War.
Later those hippies became professors in colleges/universities.

The big change is the explosion in media. When I was growing up you got your political info from Walter Cronkite if you owned one of those things called a T.V. set with a big ole antenna stuck up in the air behind your house. Some people even had a newspaper delivered to their house but the only news they were interested in was local, weather and comics.
The media has always been biased but today there are so many alternatives that people naturally are drawn to their ideology. Some through emotion (left) and some through logic (right).
The second biggest blame after media...Schools. Teachers did not discuss political issues (except HS debating teams). Even at the college level you did not have profs trying to push leftist thought until the 1980s when Reagan was elected and the mask of being a moderate came off.

Yes and Trump grabbed the populist movement of people disgusted with the filth and corruption in our government. D.C. needs to go away and most of them should be behind bars.
The rats that caused all the problems are still in control, ripping us off, putting the middle finger in our faces and causing the division to maintain power and control. And still committing treasonous acts against Trump too.
What needs to happen is both sides need to unite and put all of these SOBs in jail or throw them to the curb.

Capitalism.
When the media caught on to the formula that fanning the flames led to more viewers, more viewers led to more advertisers wanting available ad slots, and more ad demand led to more profits it was over.
Its not just TV. People are glued to a screen 16 hours a day. Everyone putting content on those screens is driving people to the extremes because that's what gets clicks and eyeballs.
Who invented the internet and social media are more to blame than Obama, Trump, or Bush.

Obama was the catalyst of the constant lying and the spread of the marxist ideology, but he is merely a puppet.
Globalist are responsible.
That and LBJ turning the black family into welfare leachers which produces mass stupidity and victimhood.
The MSM is the main entity carrying the water for all of it now.
Politicians tell a lie, MSM perpetuates, stupid people believe it. Stupid people breed at a much higher rate than normal people.

The country has always had division. What we have from the left is an attempt to unite the country by forcing those who disagree to submit.
So the left doesn’t really want anything other than to rule.

The Professional Left’s long march through the culture and the Institutions has been completed. When they assumed complete ownership they decided they would steamroll Normals into submission. Suddenly our children were told they were evil because they were white and that their daughter, who was a boy, should cut off his junk and scream at its parents at Thanksgiving and post it on TikTok. In short they declared war on normalcy and we had the audacity to notice. Our noticing their CONSTANT cultural and political and Institutional aggression is called “ division “.

The cocktail socialist. He then turned to identify politics where each group has to think the same and the minority groups are all victims. Lbj contributed, but Obama made everyone a victim. Problem is that eventually the oppressed become the oppressors.

The division right now in the USA is at an all time high. Maybe only just before the Civil War has it been higher.
Who is to blame? Can it be traced back to one person? If so, who?
If not, what do you attribute it to?
Obama embraced intersectionality whose foundation is built on dividing society into hierarchal classes with the ever present subtext being the oppressed versus the oppressor. It's a different flavor of Marxism that relies almost solely on social division. No other president has done more damage to this country than him and it ain't close IMO.
