Most people are too stupid to understand the risks, much less how to weigh them and come to a conclusion.

But I agree, the dam is about to break.

But where is everyone going to go? The government probably can't keep everyone "at home" but they sure AF can keep many business closed /reduced capacity, especially the ones that require a specific operating license. They can keep public parks and facilities closed.

I mean, you can go to your bro's house, you can go to private land in the woods, but really, where else are you going to go? Stand in line at the store? OK.

I know it's already "spring" in the south, but it's really starting to heat up across the country. People will say "F this" as it becomes warmer into summer. Also, when schools are officially done, the stay at home will be over. enough

6 weeks ago, nobody would have believed the majority would tolerate being forced to stay home for a month and a half.

Not sure where you live but in AP the majority are not staying home. The SHTF when the lumber supply starts to run short. The poor guys working at the local hardware store are just about warn out from being worked so hard for the last 6 weeks or so.

You do not need to trust the populace, you need to trust the rights encoded in our constitution. Even people today are willing to fight for those rights. So much winning, trust me, America will not lose coming out of this fight.

Correct and strangely enough there are no reported outbreaks in any of these places that I have seen.

You would think stores that are full of customers would have workers and customers getting infected and have to close down.

I just want to stay at home and collect my $1,200 per quarter. That'll feed my family, pay my mortgage, and provide me with a bunch of spending money to shop on amazon with.

The dam is breaking. Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Texas is coming up on Friday. Where I live the mayor cancelled the Stay At Home Order 3 weeks early because the governor cancelled the state order. Other than not going to restaurants, school, and some jobs people are going about their business anyway. The states are making their choice, accept that some people will get sick, a few will die, but its more important to get society moving than to give pawpaw a few more years for his dementia to fully set in.

Okay. Everyone should go stand outside the park and just say they are imagining being in the park!

Live in St. Tammany. Have a business in Jefferson.

Sure there are a lot of people out and about, but you are kidding yourself if you think there aren't a lot of people staying put. Traffic is WAY down, and other than fast food, grocery stores and Home Depot/Lowe's businesses are in serious trouble.

Businesses will start to run out of PPP money in early June, and if things aren't getting close to normal by then, it is going to be a real shite show when everyone starts shedding their headcounts.

We now know for most people healthy enough to work, and go out for entertainment Covid 19 is highly contagious, but has low fatality rates, and will be running through society for the next 18 months or longer.

Time for the old and sick to quarantine themselves and the rest of us to go back to living.
