"I don't think the legislature should have a say in my healthcare." Does that mean the left wants to scrap Obamacare, Medicare, and Medicaid? I'd be all for it. I don't think the government should be paying for any of it.

Medicaid is what pays for most grandma's and grandpa's in the nursing home after age 75. Cancel medicaid and you will have a lot of elderly people making their families miserable, needing care that an average person cannot or does not how to provide, needing to be cleaned, have buttocks wiped, etc. Definitely medicaid is something needed.

You are correct on Medicaid. The percentage of Medicaid patients in nursing homes is staggering. I would add my daughter has neurological problems that are much more common with the elderly. The amount of older patients we see telling the desk they are Medicaid patients is crazy.
