Transparency would make it more difficult to deflect criticism for blocking people from leaving the burning area and allowing hundreds of children to burn to death.

Not just that. There is a story of a lady who went around the original barriers to go to her home to try to find her child. She said her sandals were melting but didn't stop her. As she got closer she ran into some first responders and they said they had cleared her area and no one was there so go look/wait for her child in a certain staging area. Never came, and the child was found in his room clutching the family dog.

I wonder how many people they were able to find that drowned as they had to jump into the ocean. One lady said she was out there for 8hrs and started with others and they just started drowning away slowly.

There were some straight up failures here.

Dude, there are no bodies to be seen!! They are now dust, it has nothing to do with people being morbid but with the government covering up this fire

How is it the "Biden Curtain" when the federal government (FEMA) is the one being asked by the local officials to not post images and video?

If I had to guess, this probably has something to do with the hundreds of bodies they are finding in the rubble.
Get out of here with that logic.

Well we don't know who put up the curtain

But to your point they did say that it's the locals asking that imagery not be released, not the feds

The TikTok citizen journalists need to show photographs of the destruction is obviously more important.

Good BOT

Also, walls ok here but not elsewhere

How much trouble do you think someone would get in if they flew drones and videoed what was going on behind the curtain? Even staying outside of the boundary looking in

I believe the youtuber talked about this in another video. Saying the FAA has made these no fly zones.

A pretty good bit, I would imagine. Of course, they'd have to catch you to prosecute you. It wouldn't be very difficult to get away if you had a good plan.

The govt does?

The affected people who don’t want to be gawked at. They want to limit the catastrophe tourism.

Similar to what happened in the Lower 9th Ward after Katrina.

That’s why images should be shown

All you need is drones

I didn’t know the federal gov’t could build a wall.

It's a privacy fence to shroud democrat incompetence, not a wall to secure the border.
Big difference.
Higher priority.

I am having a hard time wrapping my head around how the fire had enough fuel to burn that hot all the way to the sea. I can see how complete burn can happen in a forested area but in a residential it seems that you should have been able to find a safe space outside of a neighborhood

I don’t think so, but this is the world we live in with technology.

I guess better to not know at all? Or know later down the line? That same tech is allowing you to enter these threads and talk to people about it.

I have no real stance on this, just it comes with good and bad.

Isn't that what they put on the glass in Detroit when they were counting those 2020 votes in the locked room?

I saw a fox report that the fire area was 2200 acres, that's not but 4 square miles or a block of land 2 miles by 2 miles. Its totally absurd that the have not been able to search and clear that small property in 2 weeks time. Perhaps the fed govt needs less control and more site walking to id problems. Perhaps the fed govt need to get out of the 5 star hotels earlier in the day

That isn't the case but if it was, then correct what nerve! Censoring the truth is a suck arse position for anyone even if your house burned to the ground. You have no right and no reason to want video of a disaster to be censored. And guess what. They don't want it censored. They more than anyone here want the word and videos to get out.
