I’m not really a gun person but I went out and bought a Badass S&W 45 two weeks ago. The reason for me was I’m not stupid irrational and want to be self sufficient personally if shite hits the fan and or if one of the Homeless idiots in Austin get the wrong idea about entering my home.

Funny thing about gun culture is it can be like drugs. It starts this way. In 2 years you’ll be buying assault rifles and putting all kinds of cool shite on them once you become comfortable with firearms. It gets addictive trust me.

Denis Leary had a routine on this with regards to drugs.

Specifically, it was about how potheads want to make bongs out of everything.

“Pot doesn’t lead to other drugs, it leads to fricking carpentry.

I quit smoking, not because I didn’t like it but because I didn’t want to build anything.”

It's so satisfying. Plate racks and dueling trees are where we have the most fun.

An April study from the Annals of Internal Medicine, which surveyed more than half a million Californians, found that people who live with handgun owners are shot to death at a higher rate than those who live in gun-free homes.

Awesome!

Now how many of those handguns were stolen?

I am at my range about five days a week. I see all races and all levels of skills from green to green beret.

I am seeing more and more Eastern European types coming and buying, getting advice, etc....

Doesn't seem to stop the brothers I see in the gun stores.

Don't ever let a Democrat make you feel intimidated to go to a shooting range.
I always say, if you want to stop the gun grabbers, introduce someone to shooting. Bring them to a range. It cures them almost every time, when they learn those "black scary guns" aren't really as scary as they thought.

I love that sound but the shotgun sports are what hooked my son... I had him where he could play jingle bells on the steel and all of a sudden "I had rather do that"...

Next to bass fishing, the shotgun sports are the fastest growing youth sport...

Duh. No shite.

Now give me the numbers for comparison. Without numbers, a statement like more people are killed in homes with a gun than those in homes without a gun, is just stupid. STUPID.

That’s like saying more people get stabbed in homes with knives than those without knives.

At the beginning of Covid hysteria, I went to academy to see if they had ammo. And they didn’t. But I stuck around to eavesdrop on an interesting conversation.

There was an old white dude wearing dress socks with shorts who was having a very in-depth conversation with a young inked-up black guy. They were discussing different caliber options, what was best in different situations, etc. And they were recommending to each other where they’ve found ammo in the past. I hung around for at least 10 minutes, but their conversation began before I got there and continued on after I left.

These are two guys that were very different demographically, but they developed a connection through a strong mutual interest.

I’ve seen similar things happen at the range and happen on a regular basis.

So I wholeheartedly agree. The gun culture is one of the most diverse, accepting communities.

And this is another major problem Democrats have with minorities arming themselves and participating in the gun community. They don't want everyone to see their anti-gun agenda for what it is. Racist, classist, and divisive. It's gross and they should be ashamed.

Every time I go to the range I see more and more black people shooting. And we talk guns and trade tips and all get along great.
