Her mom was just as far left as she is. It’s hard to believe she was governor of Texas.
“Now for the opposing viewpoint we go to Napolean and Hitler. Could you tell us your thoughts on easy victories in Russia?”

For someone who has been watching Texas elections for 40 years, that red along the border is mind-boggling. I never thought I would see that.
A conservative writer in the 1920’s (George Schuyler) wrote a satirical novel called “Black No More”. In his book the Democratic nominee for President ran a campaign based on his racial purity. However, the opposition did research to find out that his “genes” weren’t so pure.

It’s funny that we are still dealing with the same bs 100 years later. The democrats are still worried about racial purity. The book is a great, easy read. I was shocked by how applicable it was to today.

Oh yeah, . . . I forgot to mention. That conservative author also happened to be black.
Several posters already referred to this but . . .

I spent several months in DC area on an internship. I was surrounded by NE Ivy Leaguers. Those were the most racists MF’s that I’ve ever been around.

They didn’t run around saying the “N” word. Their racism was different. It was clear that they viewed blacks as inferior. They smugly viewed themselves as the people who were going to swoop in and save the black community from the consequences of their inferiority.
I recently got yelled at for referring to the type of pants that Payne Stewart used to wear.

(They’re called knickers)
Did one twerk while other was shooting? Or did they both twerk between shots?
I can’t believe nobody has said . . .

What did she have on Hillary.
I get the feeling that Netflix backed off some of their most egregious projects as a result of market pressure.

I’m all for boycots. I’ve purged my house from as many Disney products as possible (But I just reminded myself that I need to find an alternative to Hulu.)
At the beginning of Covid hysteria, I went to academy to see if they had ammo. And they didn’t. But I stuck around to eavesdrop on an interesting conversation.

There was an old white dude wearing dress socks with shorts who was having a very in-depth conversation with a young inked-up black guy. They were discussing different caliber options, what was best in different situations, etc. And they were recommending to each other where they’ve found ammo in the past. I hung around for at least 10 minutes, but their conversation began before I got there and continued on after I left.

These are two guys that were very different demographically, but they developed a connection through a strong mutual interest.

I’ve seen similar things happen at the range and happen on a regular basis.

So I wholeheartedly agree. The gun culture is one of the most diverse, accepting communities.
0.04%

4 parts per 10,000. And only 1 of those molecules has been added since beginning of industrial revolution.
This is the type of bs that actually scares me. Imagine an insane billionaire actually creating something that works and turning on a fleet of these.

The global warming zealots will create a human chain to protect the machines. They’ll stand there right up until the CO2 is gone and all life along with it. They are THAT brain washed.

Another scenario was batted around a few years ago, and I think Gates was involved. I have a feeling that it’s still going on behind the scenes. They were proposing that we shoot debris between the earth and sun to block part of the rays. We have this technology right now. All it takes is an insane nut job billionaire, and there seems to be a lot of those around. The unintended consequences would be catastrophic . . . But maybe that’s their real goal.
The Ibrahim Prize is an interesting concept. Lead your country well and leave at the end of your term. Walk away with $5.0MM.

I wish a billionaire here would make a similar offer. Term limit yourself, and walk away with a couple million. If you overstay, then you get nothing.

If it meant getting rid of some of the idiots, then I’d support a taxpayer funded program.
Along those lines . . .

You may be able to talk me into reparations if there was a stipulation that if you accept reparations, then you also accept a one-way ticket to wherever you want to go outside of the US. You citizenship and passport would be revoked permanently.
I’m pretty sure Allen Edmunds are made in the USA. and they make a mighty fine pair of shoes.

Thanks - I’ll check it out.

I do miss drudge. I wonder if we’ll ever hear the complete story. I have a feeling there was a 9-figure (or 10) payoff with a condition that he must disappear.

To hell with that! We could have stayed in the Big 12 for that.

You are correct the Texas will expect everyone to kiss their arse, but they want A&M in their pod. They view it as Big brother/Little brother relationship. They want to keep us close so that we don’t do anything they disapprove of. That’s why they didn’t like it when we left. They no longer had influence.

Y’all do not know what you are getting into.
