Can’t wait until they dive into all that money that Landrieu was put in charge of for infrastructure.

Department of Defense - $845 billion
Health and Human Services - $1.8 trillion

You’ve heard this argument. It’s used to criticize the audit of USAID as being not worthy of attention.
OK then, can I have my portion back? If it's so inconsequential, they certainly won't miss my contribution.

Dont forget about the $750 check North Carolinians got from FEMA! Gotta factor that into the budget.

$40 billion might be the official budget, but I would bet that a hell of a lot more money is going through there. It sounds like the Democrats One Stop Shop for money laundering.

With USAID it isn't as much about the dollar amount, it is what those dollars are used for.
A $20 million investment in Maidan in Ukraine can turn into a $100 billion return on investment when we go to war with Russia a decade later.
An $8 million* investment in Politico can influence a US presidential election.
*Or $44k if you want to get autistic

The impact is magnified because a lot of that $40 billion was being weaponized against us and used to further evil agendas vs just being wasted / thrown away.
Posted on 2/13/25 at 11:06 am to Jimbeaux
But if they are using that money to further their agendas in keeping democrats or deep state controlled then those other things are increasing for their benefits as well.
That said yesterday it was announced that 20 billion was placed into a foreign account to help NGO’s. That should not be a mission of the EPA. How many more of these departments siphoned off money for NGO’s or other nefarious organizations

Maybe a drop in the bucket as compared to the total government budget, but half of $40 billion is a lot of cash laundrred to Democrat political campaigns, media censorship, and liberal activism. I am confident, the Democrat campaigns and liberal activism cannot survive without them being able to use laundered taxpayer funds. Seriously, who in the right minds is going to dump their own money to the policies the DNC has been pushing??

Pentagon is missing a trillion dollars and act like it is no big deal.

If $40B isn’t a lot of money, then send it my way.
If it’s not a lot of money, then why are the libs crying about it?

Always wondered why VA isn’t under DOD. Should save on administrative overhead

King orange, you hit the nail on the head!!!
I believe they obviously knew this on the front end & went after it first to shite down all that slush fund that they use against us & have paid protestors & pushing the global tyranny movement.
Much much more, and one of the greatest things I love about shutting down USAID is that it cramps THEOW lavish lifestyles!!!
That horse face Chelsea Clinton got a $10M house & a $3.5M wedding!!!
Burns me up!!!!
I want my tax money back, even if they have to seize all assets of the thieves starting with Soros & Clintons & refund our Hard earned money, otherwise, justice will not be fully served!

This is how they get you to accept and overlook massive government waste. Oh it’s just a billion here and billion there it’s just a rounding error in the grand scheme of federal spending
A billion dollars is still a shite ton of money and a lot of people are enriching themselves off it while scamming tax payers

Surely that’s the administrative cost to run the department. Like salaries and facilities and the like correct?

It's more than enough to pay off, bribe, and corrupt government officials. You can bet there's other means by which the CIA gets money and they are probably much bigger than USAID.
Stay tuned friend..... it's all soon to be revealed.

Try to cut small programs - “it’s just a drop in the bucket it won’t make a difference and we need it for such and such”
Try to cut big programs “they’re gonna take away your social security check, take away your healthcare and take food out of you children’s mouths”
Try to cut defense spending “Middle East will be in turmoil, muh russua, muh China, muh police the world to protect democracy”
Don’t cut anything “he said we would reduce the deficit and didn’t do it. Vote for us, we will be the adults in the room and being back responsible government”
They’re going to complain no matter what. Cut the spending, staring with fraud, waste and lowest priorities. Do what’s right and frick trying to appease the opposition
