Texas Woman Arrested for Complaining About Brown Drinking Water?

Combs used her "Southern Belle Watch" Facebook page to aggregate photos of the brown tap water and share concerns—including claims that locals were hospitalized due to bacteria.
Police arrested her and charged her with a state-jail felony for a "false alarm or report," alleging her claims about hospitalizations were unverified.
Shortly after, a Henderson County grand jury declined to indict her, and the charges were dropped. Combs subsequently filed a federal lawsuit against the city, the police chief, and a councilwoman, alleging her arrest was deliberate political retaliation

She was arrested again?
I wonder if the arresting officer considers themself a small government patriot.

Saw this a few days ago on OAN. Sheriff was a real horse's arse and wouldn't back down even a bit. Sheriff's office then wouldn't comment to any media outlet asking for reasons or details. Grand jury saw things differently, thankfully.
As an aside, the lady who got arrested is
.
But seriously, the Trinity river is cleaner than what's periodically coming out of those lines. Saw an interview of the city manager and he claimed that the reason is failing and aging plumbing infrastructure, but that's disingenuous at best. But at least he was willing to comment, unlike the draconian old Will Teasle that runs the PD.

What idiot sees water coming out of the tap like that and consumes it?

The people who've been hospitalized should be involved also...maybe a class action suit towards the city for allowing it and covering it up?

Henderson County resident Jennifer Combs was charged with felony false alarm after posting on Facebook that the city's water had sent several people to the hospital, along with pictures and videos of the brown water coming from her sink.
Gregory alleged that Combs post "creates fear, panic, or unnecessary emergency response within a community."
A jury declined to indict Combs, and she has since filed a lawsuit against the city.
2 former Trinidad Water Clerks, Colby Reyes and Alex Estrada, filed a lawsuit stating they were fired without cause.
Reyes says in the lawsuit that she was fired because she "refused to lie" on behalf of Gregory and City Administrator Cynthia Dosier.
The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality says it has received complaints about the water quality, and an investigation into the water is ongoing

I think she's crazy, but being nuts is not a crime.
She should not have been arrested

If it’s yellow let it mellow.
If it’s brown, flush it down.
At first I thought she struck oil.
