The no primary history will need to break for Democrats, to get over the R heavy election day turnout
-Cruz's entire 2018 vote: 4.261 million
-O'Rourke's entire 2018 vote: 4.046 million
-2018 total Senate vote: 8.372 million
-2026 early votes already reported through the first eight days: ~5.14 million.
So the current 2026 early-vote count alone is already equivalent to roughly 61% of the entire number of votes cast in the 2018 Senate race, with several early-voting days plus Election Day still remaining.

Trump republicans definitely are. You're smoking crack if you think Trump is keeping 100% of the Rs.

Not 2 of them in the Falls....

Well Bush Jr was a liberal more than a Republican.

Texas is about to do what Georgia did in 2020, and will be blue from here on out.

Republicans need to start showing up . It’s close enough democrats have a chance to win . It’s going to come down to republican turn out of Election Day and how the independents vote. Republicans beat democrats in turn out on Election Day over the last 2 elections by 13% and 7% .

1,647,658 vs 1,647,451
I 100% refuse to believe the country is that closely divided.
It's not.

Rs have closed the gap then. Ds have been leading up til now. Ds need a big lead going into Election Day.

Early polls showed pretty much unbelievable crossover numbers - like 30% of Republicans going towards Talarico.
Recent polls put the number under 10%.
If Talarico gets less than 10% of Republican votes then he will need a huge turnout from Democrats and, of course, a pretty massive lead amongst independents. For example - the CBS poll a week or so ago put 5% of Republicans going to Talarico.
Not sure how mathematically accurate it is, but I have read quite a few people who seem knowledgeable say that Talarico would most likely need 12-15% of Republican voters in order to win.

2,4 M voted in the D primary
2.2M in the R primary
in March
Both parties have a lot of votes out there
But Independents don't vote in a primary
I's are breaking 60 plus % for D's
Typically it's 70% for R
its over for paxton
totally toast

Prediction markets can be wrong and they are very often wrong until you get to the day or 2 before the election, at which point they usually (but not always) converge on what actually is going to happen.

Why would any Republican switch allegiance to insert candidate X from the DSA because they believe Socialists want to give hard working conservatives a better life.

1/3 of the voters are independent
paxton will get 95% of R votes and still lose
Because of independents

I hope.
Talafreako is bad news because he pretends to be a man of the cloth. I don't want to see his views validated.

Approximately 15.2% of registered voters in Texas are identified as Independent or No Party Preference. This figure is a modeled estimate because Texas does not record party affiliation on its official voter registration forms; analysts derive these numbers from primary ballot participation and statistical modeling.
Nowhere near 1/3 of the voters are independent. You and a LOT of people like you put WAY too much emphasis on the supposed "independent vote".

You ready for the false claims that you got the result you wanted when you never said you wanted the DSA fruit to win?
It’s coming.
It’s coming.
