Our lift driver in old San Antone was a Mexican baw who said Biden is an idiot and he’s voting for Abbott then Trump in 2024 along with the rest of his family.

Running errands today I passed 3 different early voting places. There were lots of pickup trucks at each.
When I early voted Tuesday it was a 45 min line— and it didn’t look like Beto crowd.

I want to believe. I will say that a lot of the Latino politicians in the Rio Grande Valley have switched to the Republican Party.

My Latino mother in law lives half the year in Brownsville near the border in South Texas. Her & her entire family is MAGA & is voting for Abbott. They are fed up with the illegals & the Dems.

Y’all should come and see south Florida. Cubans, Colombians, Venezuelans, Brazilians are 10x more conservative than the natives.
But the greatest story is the Puerto Ricans. After Hurricane Maria the democrats imported as many as they could thinking they would vote for them like the NY ricans do. Like 50k of them to Orlando and immediately they all went maga AF
Another hilarious thing democrats will never figure out. Hispanics hate each other but white democrats always try to put them in the same bucket and it pisses them off. There is not a single rican in Miami. The only thing that Cubans hate more than Hatians is Puerto Ricans. Colombians hate Venezuelans. Peruvians hate chileians. They all hate Brazilians. And Mexicans won’t ever cross the Florida Georgia line. And I love big booty hoes. Works out for everyone

I’ve dated a few Latinas since I’ve moved to Houston. They’ve almost exclusively had conservative, Republican parents.

My general consensus after many years enjoying life around people of Hispanic heritage in Texas is that Hispanics proud of their heritage but know why they’re in America now are pretty conservative. They may vote for Henry Cuellar and even Beto (unlikely) but most of them believe in the same things I do when it comes to core values.
They ones that are liberal to a T are the ones that are ashamed of their heritage and wish they were white.

My supervisor is Hispanic from McAllen. We really don’t talk about politics but he owns lots of guns including an AR-15. There’s no way he’s supporting Beto.

Not 100% but a larger number than they'd lead you to believe . Each generation seems to be more conservative or anti-democrat. My soon to be SIL is Mexican and is MAGA. His dad is Ultra-MAGA.
