Duckworth, a combat veteran, lost her legs in 2004 after insurgents shot down a Black Hawk helicopter she was co-piloting.
Carlson called out Duckworth Monday while giving a monologue on his Fox News show "Tucker Carlson Tonight."
He was hitting Duckworth for comments she made in an interview on CNN over the weekend in which she said the U.S. should have a "national dialogue" on removing monuments honoring Washington, who owned slaves. She has previously said she supports changing the names of military bases named after Confederate leaders.
"You're not supposed to criticize Tammy Duckworth in any way because she once served in the military," Carlson said. "Most people just ignore her. But when Duckworth does speak in public, you're reminded what a deeply silly and unimpressive person she is."

At least Duckworth’s injuries were in combat. Cleland fricked around with a grenade at the base IIRC.

Equal rights, huh? Women want to be treated the same then how about when the left has no problem taking down patriot war heroes, there should be no issue in doing the same to them, especially when they are wrong.

Look. I was military. This is but one more example that being in the military isn't some universal character trait and, that bombs/bullets etc don't select for high character.
Bad people can, and do join the military and, as such, bad people can, and do get hurt in the military.
Then, those bad people are only to happy to USE it as some sort of Teflon "you can't ever disagree with me" shield.

No. Tucker Carlson’s opinion of TD is meaningless since he didn’t even serve in the military. Maybe he thinks being a CIA reject gives him that honor.
