Tucker Carlson’s opinion of TD is meaningless since he didn’t even serve in the military.
I have never been a teacher so my opinion of specific teachers is meaningless?
You people are weird.

It’s even more ridiculous when he supports the cowardly draft dodger who sits his fat arse in the White House.

What the frick has that preppy, privileged asshat ever done to serve his country?
Born in America so he has the same rights as the rest of us.
quote:You cannot come up with even one correct reason why he has no right.
Tucker Carlson surely has no right to question her loyalty.
Not one reason exists in our system of laws.
Exactly what list of accomplishments in your life gives YOU the right to question Tucker's rights?

She did play directly into what he was saying about her. Her time as a politician should be judged completely separately former her time in the military.

Especially with no sports. Tucker Carlson is MUST SEE TV!

"Does @TuckerCarlson want to walk a mile in my legs and then tell me whether or not I love America?" Duckworth tweeted after Carlson called her a "deeply silly and unimpressive person."
this lady said a lot of stupid things this week. I now have zero respect for her.
when Biden loses they will say cause of his VP possible choice doesn't have legs.
it is enough they race bait but this is a bridge way too far.

The police are questioning TD on her stance on statues? Or is this one of those 4D chess gimmicks?

He’s saying using your logic, everyone protesting and bitching about police have no room to speak.
How fricking dense are you?

What I’ve learned from this thread;
*Your stance on dead people’s statues makes you unpatriotic more than being a combat-related double-amputee makes you patriotic.
*A CIA drop-out with no military experience and a loud mouth & no real accomplishments can be considered very patriotic because he supports keeping dead people’s statues.
*A POTUS who dodged the draft for 4 years of college and 1 year of bone spurs is considered very patriotic because he tweets well & is excellent at polarized everyone outside his cult (actually I knew the last part so I’m cheating here). Reminds me so much of a song lyric-In Birmingham they love the governor...does your conscience bother you?

You can criticize her about a great many things, but probably can't fairly criticize her patriotism.
Let me tell you something
And people here might not like it
There are tons of service members that had no other option when they were 18-20 years old but to enlist. They dont give a single shite about anything but at least having some kind of job.
Getting blown up somewhere after this enlisting does not inherently make you a patriot. In some ways it would probably make you less so, I know it would for me.
Hiding behind this cover is out right stupid if you ask me. Hell cutting logs is more dangerous than being a soldier and no one cares about that.
And then to go into government in this country and trash it? Thats next level cuunt

I think if you’re going to call someone silly and claim they don’t love America you should be ready for them to point out they lost their legs while serving in the military. There is a pretty big difference between calling out someone’s love for their country and disagreeing with them.
I personalltmdont Agree with removing Washington’s statues.
Also, a lot y’all should never anything about Kaepernick disrespecting the troops ever again.
Eta: woof autocorrect did me dirty

Does she think the same things today that led her to join the military? Did she join the military as a job or because she had a vision of the greatness of America?
That’s a really un-nuanced view you’re proposing.
Why would she change. She actually made a sacrifice. Tucker? No. Trump? Hardly. Trump’s only loyalty is to himself. He has never made a sacrifice or done a thing to help others.
I love how you supposedly patriotic people can defend someone for attacking a honored combat veteran.
Nuance? What bullshite!

How do I lose by standing up for a wounded, decorated combat veteran vs a commentator who has never served? Oh, that’s right. Conservative asshats praise those who mock our military and those that served honorably. Carlson and Trump- birds of a feather.
