Reach out to a vet today, this is extremely depressing shite if you spent substantial portions of your life dedicated to this mission much less saw friends maimed and killed. Doesn't help one bit that folks that never had any skin in the game now want to make this about party politics rather than pulling for best outcome for team USA.

Taliban soldiers walking outside of the Kabul airport. If they wanted to take down one of these jets they could but I think the Taliban are concentrating on winning the public relations war against the US and creating more chaos inside the airport by scaring people to overrun the US troops. Brilliant strategy to make the US look even more incompetent than we already are.
