At 80 you're not playing in the same division as 50 year olds, you're playing dudes 70 plus. You're also playing much shorter tees, go watch the Bryson Breaking 50, I can see him keeping it near par from some short tees

Watch him play with Bryson and you know Trump is a good golfer. He has a good swing for an 80 YO and his putting (while looking terrible due to the old style) is very effective. I also suspect the senior championship isn’t PGA senior definition but actually older individuals like a 65+ or older tourney. The man has probably had more practice and lessons than anyone in that field

Reading my question back, I need to apologize for the use of the word "but"; it may well have suggested some attempt at being derisive, and that was not my intent at all. I was honestly curious, since even if it was 63/110 it is still an accomplishment.
I don't have any illusions I will ever shoot my age, too many other hobbies, and it doesn't help that my club's course is a 73/133 from the mid-tees.

Mine is 70.9/126 from the mid on that course.
It’s the easiest of the 3 IMO.
73 from the mids is rough. The Judge is 78.5/147 from the tips. 16 is a 240 carry and frequently into the wind and 280 is wet on the other side.

Have we heard anything else about the guy killed, barely a blip and where is the scare on the ear or anywhere on his body. Not saying it wasn’t a real bullet but staged event for sure

Have you watched the video of him playing a course with DeChambeau? I do believe they were playing Bedminster in the video. Dude is a scratch golfer. In the big scope of things it does not really matter but still. He is a minus handicap especially on a course he plays all of the time. You may hate him (obviously so) but he has game.
