"Individuals who self-identiy [sic] as Latinx or are aware of the term are most likely to be U.S.-born, young adults from 18 to 29 years old," she observed. "They are predominately English-speakers and have some college education. In other words, the most marginalized communities do not use Latinx."

White people created latinx, their pets didn't like the term, white people then decide to say that latinx is offensive so they can protect their pets against the people that use the term that was previously deemed to be the necessary term

My sister-in-law is Hispanic. She doesn't say Hispanic, Latino or Latinx. She says Spaniard because she was born in Spain.

How about if you want to be inclusive, just put a fricking S on the end of the word, like every other group. Latin/Latins. White/Whites. Black/Blacks. Asian/Asians.

This is them laying the groundwork for when they stop using the term. The real reason is that it pisses off Latinos, but they'll say it's because it's 'not inclusive enough.'
