Why does the South Asian stay the same but African changes to black?
Not sure this is quite the "Own" they think it is...

Because you don’t get racial brownie points for being Jamaican in the U.S.

I hate how caught up people are in identity politics and I wish Trump would stay away from it but he isn't

I don’t see the intersection of Irish slave-owner represented…

I mean he makes a pretty good point. She really didn't identify as "black" until very recently.

All of politics has an element of identity to it. No specific race or group has a monopoly on that.

Also her father is of African and IRISH descent, if the reporting is correct.
I don't care about this, but I guess in identity politics it SHOULD matter?

I get it. We all do but the Dems are twisting it as an attack and it's working for them. Just leave it and beat her on policy

In all seriousness this highlights the ignorance of Trump’s campaign manager and voters who think this is a good idea. She’s Indian and Black. No different from an American who may be Irish/German, etc.
Focusing on someone’s race, for any reason, is kryptonite in this day and age. It serves only to rile up those who are voting for him no manner what, while alienating the moderates who are not keen on Kamala. Mathematically he needs them to win.
If Kamala is smart she will sit back and let Trump continue to squander the incredible opportunity he had after forcing Biden out and surviving an assassination attempt.

Aren't quite a few white people considered of "African descent "?
Would the same group label Elon Musk as so?

By your reasoning, they should be circling the drain, right?
Right?…

Teresa Heinz Kerry is notoriously “African American”, as she is from somewhere in the southeast of the continent such as Mozambique IIRC.
Bringing up this term got quietly covered up by the press when Kerry was running in 2004.

“Harris’ official online biography in 2005 as San Francisco district attorney referred to her as “the first African American woman in California to hold the office” and noted that she had attended “America’s oldest black university.”

If you don’t know, maybe you should do a simple google search before acting like you do.

What’s worse here is that Democrats automatically assume they understand everything about her parent because they know their ethnicity/nationality.
Dems think of all blacks as being one way. Kamala thinks this, it’s why she does all the code switching.

If we’re going to go off of the logic of this board, then you can’t ignore the Dutch, British and Canadian backgrounds.

She was in a black sorority at a historically black university all the way back in college. She’s identified as black for a while.
Now clearly, she focused more on her Indian heritage when making her political name in San Francisco. To the extent that Trump’s attack reflects a fundamental fluidity in Kamala’s personality to always try and present favorably to whatever room she is in, he’s correct; she doesn’t seem to have a principled bone in her body and will say anything she needs to say to build her political profile. A nuanced communicator could effectively make that point, and using her flip flopping between embracing Indian and African heritage could support it well.
But Trump is not a nuanced communicator. We all know this. It just comes with the territory of his being a brawler. So this isn’t the right line of attack for him to focus on, it doesn’t play to his strengths. Hit her on the border, her promise to ban fracking, her support of Medicare for illegal immigrants, and her plan to confiscate all assault styles rifles. Those are easy issues that can cut through the noise of a biased media and make a compelling case to a national audience. And Trump can hammer those points home better than anybody.

In the interview with Judge Joe Brown, he says her dad isn’t black at all - he is Indian and Irish mix. Idk if that’s true, but idk why he would lie about it. It seemed as if he knew her family from years ago.

Makes sense that she would claim black, considering her family bought and sold many slaves.
Can't wait until Democrats are forced to jump through hoops for that one.
If Kamala's family isn't responsible for their actions, then I shouldn't be responsible for something I had no part of.
However, we know logic and accountability aren't the trademarks of leftists.

There is a difference here. Black isn’t a country or a place.

I sorta agree
But sometimes exposing the frauds that they are helps open eyes to the other 350 million lies they tell
