Does Trump get any credit?

Yes and it will serve America right when they go all Democrat and their retirements go to shite

A lot of people in their late 50s are retiring early. 50% or more increase in your retirement account over the last five years will make you start thinking about an early exit. Gen Z is going to inherit a lot of money.

We have had lots of inflation. Stocks are subject to inflation too.
Equities have gone up faster than inflation, but that delta is the actual increase in value.

No one cares. All normal people see are higher prices in an economy that has snowballed in the rich man’s direction while killing the middle class.
Harping on the stock market as proof of success is one of the tactics pushing more retards in the socialist direction.

Yeah, it is almost like inflation affects stock market prices.

Trump could single handedly cure cancer, walk on water, max out every persons stock portfolios, & reunite The Smiths & the left still would give him zero credit for anything he did. TDS is a disease.

He will definitely get no credit from the ones who blamed him when it was down briefly.

CapEx spending on AI is driving a lot of this, and the market weighting of the S&P is making it lean more heavily in the AI direction.

Earnings are way up……look for market to soar….
If polls show AOC leading the gop candidate in 28 look for a market crash

Don't you love the local motherfrickers looking for the bad in anything and everything? At this point I laugh at them.

We print 2 trillion dollars per year with no value backing it and throw it at people. Any wonder a stock market based on value increases?

One thing about the stock market... whether America is thriving or dying, somebody is making money.
Posted on 8/13/26 at 10:31 am to 3rdgentgr
The stock market is not the economy.....
Posted on 8/13/26 at 10:31 am to theunknownknight
Middle class people who saved for 40 years are no longer middle class when the retire.

It’s supposed to always be growing (over time). It’s not like an approval rating that stays inside a band.
At multiple points, were record highs under Biden, too.
For that matter, Clinton 1 and Obama 1 both had 80+% growth in the S&P 500, highest of any presidential terms. Do we want to laud them, too?
I understand your point. I just think it’s not nearly as attributable as this.
