This Jen Psaki lady from the state department on tv right now is pathetic. Can someone have some emotion about this? I know how this stuff works and this isn't my first time watching politics happen but come on. If you have to say guarded coded crap at least when something like this happens do it with us knowing someone up there is pissed off. Not that you got an A+ in political science and can say nothing while moving your mouth.

I think alot of Americans feel this way. But let's say we ramp up and go back in with a full scale shooting war in Iraq and ISIS decides to meld back into the populace and fight an insurgency. Then what?
10 more years of clear and hold? The American people don't have the stomach for that shite.
What about Syria? Intervene in the middle of a civil war? For who?

So, just to clear things up-- you want the President to invade Iraq and Syria, topple the Syrian government and occupy both countries for decades to come....and you think that congress and the American people would go along with this?
Please tell me the president who would do this?
Seriously, name to me the US president in the last 50 years who would take these actions-- Nixon is the only one I can think of and even then its really iffy.
