My personal thoughts on Canada is - frick them. Then again, these are my feelings about every other leftist shithole, be they a city, state, or nation.

It is nothing beyond the symbol/embodiment of the State as an entity. That is its only purpose. In practice it is no difference than systems like France, Germany, or Israel, who have a figurehead head of state with a separate, popularly elected head of government.

This isn’t anti-monarchy, the monarchy have no influence. This is about removing symbols and rewriting history from the loser standpoint.
