You seem to be assuming quite a bit here. There are legitimate reasons for a lack of development directly related to colonialism, but again, people become intensely emotional about the mere reference. It becomes a sinister way of shutting down discussion, or moving it to other causes.

Typical crazy4lsu writing. Asserting knowledge dominance without saying anything.

And your reply is typical, indignant that I'm knowledgeable about something without any addition to the discussion. If you want me to start citing every one of my sources, I'll do it.

Do it.

You won’t. You’ll get “bored” and “busy.”

Sure.

I've never used the word bored in reference to my inability to complete something I said I would. I say I'm busy because I am busy, trying to complete two doctorates.

The reference to African agriculture as a prevailing reason for the lack of development I first read in the edited title "West African Agriculture," edited by Phillip Jones, specifically the chapter from Katie Manning. I read it in September of last year because I'm trying to find an orphaned population in the literature whose migration path I can trace through "novel" molecular methods. I guess if I'm being honest, there isn't a direct connection between that chapter and my views on African development. Other books I've read are A History of Africa by JD Fage, a Walter Rodney book, the entire bibliography of Fanon, Leila Ahmed, Ben Okri and Coatzee, among others. Specifically about development, I've read a whole lot of papers from NGO's mostly. I'll add to this once I remember more.

The references to the institutional involvement of the British Raj come from a wealth of sources, starting from Abhijitt Banerjee's essay in the American Economic Review in 2005, if I remember. I was exposed to the essay in 2008 from a class, along with a bunch of other works on India.

You know Canada is part of the British Commonwealth, right? The Queen is commander of the Canadian armed forces. Or are you a fricking retard?

There was a smaller sample size with communism, you know, due to issues with communism...like starvation and murder.

Then again, only the strong survived.

Not the first. I cited some works on that fat lady's discussion on post-modernity, because she was discussing very specific parts from Lyotard directly. I also have quoted from the DSM-V, and Williams Obstetrics. On the OT I've cited numerous works on Spanish-Native interactions, including the fabulous Jonathan Hartlyn's The Struggle for Democratic Politics in the Dominican Republic, as well as the absolutely fantastic book Beyond Germs, as well as The Conquest of New Spain. Also I feel like I cite more on the OT for some reason, as I dropped a Lermontov reference recently. I think most of the geopolitical stuff I've written is also cited. It's largely written poorly, though.

The loons who subscribe to “Wokeism” are nothing but scab pickers. Anything they perceive as social injustice is a political scab to be picked.

Does “it” mean a state seceding after an election or a sovereign citizen?

Again, depends on what you mean.

Still trying to figure out when it became ok to destroy public property without any consequences. Lawlessness going on all over the world right now.

Botswana had a fairly liberal society, although not wealthy. No sub saharan country is really “wealthy”.

What if this sort of gesture leads to a more just, verdant and peaceful Canada, and eventually severing ties with the British Commonwealth?
