WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump said Thursday that the Pentagon will no longer livestream the firing squad execution of Fort Hood shooter Nidal Malik Hasan, after the announcement faced bipartisan criticism and Vice President JD Vance said he wouldn’t watch it.

Trump said on social media that publicly airing the execution “might have been a strong deterrent for the World to witness how America deals with Terrorists and SCUM like Hasan."

But, he continued, “any very good and well meaning people would rather not watch him die, through streaming, or through any other visual device.”

The Pentagon has said Hasan’s execution is scheduled for Dec. 3. Trump said the execution can be viewed in person by immediate families of the victims, “if they so choose.”

Well, shoot.

Let's see what the public reaction is. It's possible that this is a move toward the middle for midterm optics. If public outcry is loud enough, he has a month after the midterms to change his mind.

Not nearly as interested in seeing Hasan eat lead as much as I am others who will face worse charges.

Posting TACO is basically telling the world you have a sub 70 iq.

Good leaders change their mind and there has never been a world leader as good as Trump in all of human history. He’s the goat and it’s not close.

I think it's the right decision, but I will enjoy the 180s on here after all of the chatter the last few days.

Just a snap shot of your Dear leader

The Spring 2026 Ultimatum Timeline

• March 21, 2026 – The First 48-Hour Ultimatum: Trump issued a strict 48-hour deadline demanding that Iran cease regional military retaliation and reopen the Strait of Hormuz, threatening the "obliteration" of domestic power plants.
• March 23, 2026 – The First Extension: Less than two hours before the deadline expired, Trump announced a strike pause, claiming that backdoor talks mediated by regional partners were "going the way he'd want it to go".
• March 26, 2026 – The Threat Reignition: Citing a lack of immediate compliance, Trump pivoted back to maximum pressure, issuing public warnings that oil facilities and grid nodes remained actively targeted.
• April 4, 2026 – The Second 48-Hour Ultimatum: Amid stagnant talks, a fresh 48-hour warning was issued. The administration signaled that a localized target package was finalized.
• April 5–6, 2026 – The Fixed "Tuesday Window": The administration consolidated the timeline, creating a hard expiration window set for Tuesday evening, April 7.
• April 7, 2026 – The "Civilization" Warning & Retraction: In a dramatic afternoon statement, Trump posted, "A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again." Yet, fewer than two hours before the midnight strike window, he announced a two-week suspension of attacks after receiving a Pakistani-brokered 10-point proposal from Iranian negotiators.

Shifting Agreements and Re-escalation

• April 8, 2026: Trump celebrated a "big day for World Peace" as an interim truce began. However, talks in Pakistan quickly stalled over primary sanction relief and maritime control demands.
• April 12, 2026: Trump abruptly reversed course again, ordering the U.S. Navy to institute an immediate blockade of the Strait of Hormuz to intercept toll-paying ships.
• May 18, 2026: As combat crossed the 12-week mark, Trump deployed AI-generated imagery on social media to issue renewed warnings that "the clock is ticking," though planned strikes were stood down multiple times following calls from Gulf leaders.
• June 17, 2026 – The Islamabad Memorandum: Following a breakthrough G7 summit framework, Trump and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian remotely signed a 14-point peace memorandum to officially freeze large-scale hostilities

Good idea.

That was dumb.

Heggy is such a try-hard but that's part of what makes him good.

What chatter exactly?

I haven't seen anyone "upset" by this. It'd be different if he was not doing something that's always done. This was something extra that they're choosing not to do.

The left doesnt want anyone seeing an abortion and the right doesn't want anyone seeing an execution. They aren't remotely similar other than each side is afraid the brain dead morons that make up the independent voter class will get upset if they are forced to face the reality of either.

I believe it's a small vocal minority of people who are blood thirsty to see Hassan get executed live on tv, but it's truly disturbing none the less.

This country continues to spiral into moral decay.

And no, I do not think he should get off and not have punishment, but blowing his brains out on live tv is not going to bring healing to anyone and will only serve to satisfy thanatophiles and sadists.

He is coasting now and nothing of significance will get done from here.
And before you sheep start your banter, ill leave you w some MAIN campaign promises..
*NO wars
*NO middle east forever bullshite
*Prosecutions for guilty in Epstein stuff and release of full files
*Hilary, Obama, Biden and staff *Prosecution (now says it would look right!)

Probably read all the crying on here from the babies wailing about it being streamed live

It's not a deterrent

It will make more terrorist

It's social moral decay ( while ignoring the fact execution was done in public for centuries)

And more crying
