Anyone who takes any athlete/celebrity/musician’s political opinion seriously needs their head examined.
These are people that’re extremely, extremely poorly educated or not educated at all. They play with balls, sing, or race for a living. Movies stars pretend to be someone else and fake someone else’s life.
They have no concept of anything other than what they see on the news or Twitter. They don’t read, they don’t look at the facts. They base their thoughts on whatever propaganda they catch a brief glimpse of.

Didn't listen, did he list what he doesn't like? I don't like all of the fraud that's eating away at my tax dollars. I don't like many other things.
That being said, you don't bitch about your country on the worldwide stage. You put your best foot forward and enjoy the Olympic spotlight. Promote your sport and hope that increases your revenue stream.

The problem is the CONSTANT pushing in one direction. Prompting/leading/softball questions by an agenda-driven media to get soundbytes supporting one single message.
Although impossible to imagine, what if a reporter said something like:
A lot of people disagree with ICE's tactics in enforcing existing US immigration law, but do you agree with the tactic of many citizens committing violent felonies in order to impede federal law enforcement actions? A good example would be Alex Pretti, who was seen clearly on camera committing multiple aggravated felonies.

The inability for conservatives to know the difference between a moderate, liberal, or communist is how Russia ended up communist.
The royalist Russians were stupid and incapable of recognizing their real threats or those that were not completely onboard with autocracy but weren’t willing to burn the whole system down. Therefore, the far left wing was able to seize on the inability for moderates and conservatives to make common cause thus damning Russia to a minority who alleged they were the majority (literally what Bolshevik means) running the country.
I think we’re seeing the same damnation in this country and this ignorant post is proof positive.
