Parents almost but me one when I was 16 until they priced insurance. $2k a year for a $500 car.
Too lazy to go inside? Should have used the app
Do they not already have a fuel surcharge? Where I am, Entergy has a base rate that is set annually and a monthly surcharge amount that is based on their actual purchase price for that month. So if the base rate goes up, the surcharge rate should go down.
You somewhat glossed over a major branch of the Republican party. You listed traditional values, and I'm guessing that's a huge umbrella for the anti-abortion and religious right. Some of that group aren't fiscal conservatives.

The Republican party historically hasn't been unified to support competing interests like the Democrats. How else can you explain the LGBTQ community supporting Islamic communities that kill gays? How can you be the party for women and support men pretending to be women taking athletic scholarships from real women?
I remember the All Star game getting moved to Denver, but don't remember the actual vote that caused it. Wasn't it related to voter ID? Didn't Colorado have the same ID requirements? Total hypocrisy

CNN panel not on board with SEC ban

Posted by CubsFanBudMan on 5/19/26 at 11:02 pm
Watching CNN to see their take on election night. They spent some time discussing Temo Obama's call for black athletes and fans to boycott SEC schools due to redistricting. Panel said it could backfire on Dems and it puts undue pressure on the athletes that are trying to make it to the next level. Also questioned if the NFL could be pressured to relocate the 2030 Superbowl that was just awarded to Nashville.
Congress's approval has always been lower than the president, either party, yet people traditional reelected their person. The time for reelct no one is now. Seniority is the worst reason to vote for someone.
So the NBC link estimated 120k votes at 5:30 and this guy expected 140k, almost 20% more? And complains when it's called with 105k votes and a 10k vote lead?
Reverse this and ask how did footlocker? promo % discount for every point over 100 up to 25% during the Shaq says at LSU and now college basketball is in the 60-80 point range per game.

What purpose do you have for the oxidation of iron? Maybe the world needs to be educated on what we use in our everyday lives that we could produce without that chemical process?

Rust

Where does rust stand on your list of things you'd like to eliminate from this planet? Seems like it serves no purpose. Don't encounter it every day, but when you do it's a bitch.
Orleans early voting is now in. 5 parishes still haven't reported early voting
Cassidy with 900 out of 1400 votes in Orleans parish so far. Early voting not reported yet
How many of Cassidy's EBR votes are from former Dems that are now no party?
The 12k for EBR is only for the R primary. There were 34k early votes on the amendments

You do realize that’s not what this is about, don’t you?

What is your interpretation of the amendment?
And I guess she ignored the bad things about Cassidy and Letlow. I don't talk politics with her because she has no ability to use reason. She trusts everything the news says. I call it the Walter Cronkite effect. You should hear the debates I had with her about the COVID vaxx. She thought I was crazy for getting fired for fighting against my employer's attempt to mandate it.

. I told her yes for St George and the inventory tax

Why?

Why for which? Why should Baker, Central and Zachary be allowed to separate from EBR schools, but St George be denied?

Why should businesses be penalized for having high inventory on hand? Wouldn't you rather your repair man have the parts needed to fix your shite same day instead of needing to order them?
My wife asked me how to vote on the amendments. I told her yes for St George and the inventory tax and no on the rest. Then I asked her who she was voting for senate. She was planning on voting Cassidy and I told her not to. She asked who I voted for and I told her Flemming. Mother in law chimmed in and said she her bad things about Flemming. My response was then vote for Letlow, anyone but Cassidy.

What about the 2:00 am vote dump?

No such thing. All electronic so as soon as the last person that was in line at 8:00 votes, they print out the tally and call it into the parish, then I think they bring something to the parish for verification.
Are there any specific areas we should look out for the 3 candidates? Meaning if North Louisiana is all in and candidate X is in 3rd, it's over for that person?

Do we still need to hold out for the slow count in Orleans parish even though they are heavy dem? Did they all switch to no party to vote for Cassidy?
