All the committee needs to do is vote them below the made up line. I'm sure ESPN will buy into the narrative that ND is better off joining a conference so that they can broadcast some of their games

You are basing things on straight results of 1 game. Ignoring the mentality of fall camp focusing on a premier open. BK sucked at this. Miles was the master of winning game 1 and using the momentum.

I agree, but the presale is the only way to gauge interest for a specific location. LSU could say we have 20k presale for Tampa but only 5k presale for Houston. Where do you think we would go in that situation?

I don't remember getting an email telling me to prebuy tickets to each bowl game this year. Only chance to go somewhere other than Houston would be to sell out our allocation prior to the matchup being announced.
Wasn't planning on going, so a weekend game against whoever is ideal. Let the kids have fun on their trip and hope for good practice evaluations to determine who is worth a 2026 scholarship.

Are you going to say that the best 12 teams are in if there's an upset in a play in game, or are you going to say that the wrong bubble team was selected for the play in game? What we have now is the top 10 plus 2. If you're not in the top 10 or one of the top 5 conference winners you have no room to complain. You didn't do everything in your power to earn a spot.

My stance has been if LSU were to hire Indiana's coach, you let him finish the playoffs. Indiana isn't a rival or perennial threat. If they hire Kiffin, you want to weaken their chance of hanging a skin on their wall.

The Republican house passed a continuing resolution that matched what the Democrats passed earlier this year. The Senate has brought it up to vote multiple times but not enough Democrats have voted in favor of bringing it to a formal vote.
