Imagine watching Communists steal an election in Brazil and believing American elections are real.

That said I’m not recalling from any of my marketing classes that “hey our product sucks, but remember theirs is even worse” is exactly ideal messaging when trying to drum up enthusiasm for your product.

True.
Except, your analogy is incomplete.

Regarding your "product" example, in this instance, you can't choose to use something else (unless you leave the country for a different government). Nor can you choose to opt out of use. You are going to have to use one "product" or the other in your home for several years.

Trying to pretend the reason people aren't supporting republicans is because of high gas prices rather than increasing government spending, starting foreign wars, trying to block the Epstein files and attacking the most conservative members of congress demonstrates the disconnect going on right now.

They'll get ALL that and far worse if and when the demoncrats return to power...talk about a disconnect!

Getting my vote is easy.

Step 1: Nominate a conservative.

That's it, that's the list.

Whether you believe it’s the correct approach or not many of the Joe Rogan / Fuentes crowd are simply saying it doesn’t matter what I vote for I get the same thing just slower so I’m not voting at all.

And a MAGA 2024 coalition voter who stays home is almost as bad for outcomes in November as one who votes blue.

My position isn’t that many people who voted for Trump and dragged the useless GOP to what should’ve been a generational election win in 2024 are going to vote for democrats in November, I just don’t think some of them are going to show up at all.

Whether that’s enough to flip it remains to be seen but without Trump on the ballot to get out his core supporters out you’re basically betting that enough people who loathe the McConnell wing of the GOP will show up to vote for a bunch of McConnell type congressmen who just intentionally sabotaged the entire 2024 platform and I’m not buying it.

Most of us realise this is a short term pain for a long term good.

Then you have the left, brainwashed fools and useful idiots that will actually sacrifice their lives they are so caught up in the madness.

You fearmongers are ridiculous.

The reality is that the differences between the two parties these days increasingly comes down to a handful of social issues, because those seem to be the only issues Republicans are willing to take a hard stance on.

I don't know why some of you can't just be honest with yourselves and admit that Trump 2.0 has been pretty bad, especially over the past year. Imagine how much sky-is-falling outrage we'd be hearing if Kamala were president and the country were in its current state. Imagine the absolute meltdown if Kamala were out there promising $5,000 in stimulus money if Democrats maintained control of Congress. Jesus Christ, the man is a disaster right now.

And that's what's so frustrating about it. After the election, Trump had enormous support from the middle of the electorate, along with Republican control of both the House and Senate. He had a real opportunity to get things done, and what has he actually accomplished with all that political capital? Not nearly enough to justify the constant excuses his supporters make for him.

And now he's even convinced some of you that the conflict in Iran is completely necessary. You know damn well that if Kamala were president and the country were involved in the exact same conflict, many of you would be staunchly opposed to it. You'd be talking about reckless foreign policy, wasted taxpayer money, and dragging America into another war. But because it's Trump doing it, suddenly there's a justification for everything. The policy doesn't change; just the person implementing it does.

Republicans are always quick to scream about RINOs, but this goes beyond party loyalty at this point. It's the cult of Trump. Any Republican who dares challenge him gets shouted down or called a cuck. Apparently, conservative principles only matter when they're convenient for Trump, and loyalty to one man has become more important than holding your own party accountable. You can't claim to care about limited government, fiscal responsibility, or conservative foreign policy while abandoning those principles whenever Trump tells you to. At some point, you have to ask yourself whether you're actually defending conservatism or just defending Trump, no matter what he does.

No it's not.

I can not vote or I can vote 3rd party.

It's not my fault Trump and the GOP decided to increase government spending, start foreign wars, block the Epstein release, increase the police state and attack republicans who didn't vote as Trump wanted.

My congressman is a crappy neocon, he's not getting my vote and there is nothing that can be done at this point to change that.

If you want my vote, nominate conservatives instead of big government neocons. But otherwise, I'm not playing this shitty version of "Would you rather".

Well maybe if the GOP had focused on the actual issues and things wanted rather than increasing government spending by over 1 trillion dollars, starting foreign wars, protecting pedos and increasing the police state things would be different.

Personally, none of that shite really affects me because I live in a great state.

You'll get that just as I will.

But the most important thing is Iran and increasing government spending by over 1 trillion right? That is what the Trump and the GOP chose over draining the swamp and bringing real change.

Nobody forced or asked Trump or the GOP to do what it did.

Its ridiculous to think folks that voted for Trump and his ideas would do complete 180 and vote for Marxist Dems. Isn't gonna happen over a couple of dollars increase in gas prices.
Don't believe the Marxist propaganda......

Well people are stupid. They are complaining about increases in gas prices from a price point that was lower than when Democrats were in charge. I guess Trump would have been better served if gas just stayed high so there was no increase.

It is apparent that MAGA doesn’t care about plenty of votes from people who constituted the successful coalition.

Anyone who questions any part of your silly agenda is ridiculed and cast aside. That is why the democrats are ripping you a new arse in the midterms.
