re: Some perspective on midterms and gas prices

The national average price for gas was $3.65/gallon in July of 2024, not much different from where it is right now but in July of 2024 the DSA loyalists were fine with $3.65/gallon gas. When you factor in total inflation from July of 2024 to October of 2026 the price for a gallon of gas is about the same but now the DSA loyalists are outraged.

Your path is one that is a continuation of our country declining. Because that is the exact same thinking that got us where we are today.
Maybe it's because you aren't standing for anything and your actions literally allow the democrats to define the standard as a result.
Either way, I can promise you this much - it's never going to get better until the masses start voting and treating politics the way I do.
For MOTHERfrickING sakes son!
You don't don't throw it all away.
Because that's what you are doing with your mindset.

Trump can end this war over the Strait but he’d rather pack his families pockets with govt contract dividends.

I would postulate that this poster, the one to whom you’re replying, is not only a member of a certain vocal minority (which certainly has representatives on this board, needless to say), but he further seems to be a vocal minority within the vocal minority. And I’ll stop there, I don’t intend this to be shite talk.

It was a cowardly backroom vote to keep the bill from reaching the floor.
Except he specifically gave the reason why. They added the Nancy Pelosi rules in it.

I understand exactly how they work and how they're manipulated to allow treacherous pussies like Massie to convince the eagerly gullible, (you), that they never betrayed their constituents when the record shows they did.
Then you just hate him for other reasons but can't make valid arguments to justify it.

You are the ones throwing it away.

No.
The fact that the only play you and other cheerleaders have is pointing at the democrats highlights the reality.
You are just like democrats who would just go along with whatever as long as it wasn't Trump. Totally fricking wrecked that entire party.
And you're doing the same stupid shite with democrats. Defending wars, spending, police state and defending pedos.
I'm not that stupid.

No. He played games with the most impirtant piece of leglislation he ever voted on. That's reason enough.

And that statement, which is true, is a reflection of our media coverage or lack thereof.

There is a rules committee for a reason. You are upset he voted against the Nancy Peliso rules of finding out what it's in a bill after it passes.
And the Save Act isn't even a good bill really.
It doesn't mean voters have to show their ID when they vote, only when they register. It doesn't address mail in ballots where people can harvest them for money, or other methods etc.
It's better than nothing, but trying to claim it's the most important bill ever is pretty crazy.
I live in Florida, we already have stricter laws.
