Roberts is a Bush/Yale establishment type. He’ll go along to get along. Remember, this is the guy that wrote in his opinion that Obamacare (we all know it’s unconstitutional) was constitutional because it’s a tax. He’ll do whatever makes his friends on the Hill happy.

How has he not?

Man, you do not understand how the Courts are usurping powers never enumerated unto them do you? The Constitution only named Three Branches, the Supreme Court was supposed to handle everything. The Judiciary has now set itself up as the de facto presidential authority, the lower courts can put stays on anything and everything nation wide, then it has to work its way through the court system, so for a year or 2 they can stymie and 1 term president. In the way Congress set it al up, the Supreme Court was to hear or reject cases, not have lower courts gumming up the works, now THATS OK for everything else I guess (not really, the ACLU is abusing this process by JUDGE SHOPPING) but the Presidential Acts should be heard directly by the S.C. and either thrown out or ruled on, as intended originally; And Trump should ignore the Lower Court Rulings all together.

Why doesn't he?

There are also clearly delegated powers of the president and the judiciary. Judges don't control how the executive branch operates.
They certainly can if he is operating outside the bounds of his constitutional authority
This seems pretty obvious

Until they fear the people in public, yes.

The Constitution of the United States divides the federal government into three branches: legislative, executive, and judicial. "Supreme Court supposed to handle everything" doesn't exist.

Speaker Johnson is more to blame, he took impeachment of judges off the table.

What Roberts supposed to do by himself?

The courts themselves have slowly been creeping into the areas set forth for the executive and legislative branches the last 80 years or so.
In the last 30 or so, this is a function of congress not writing laws and instead letting the bureaucracy institute regulations that were then fought over in the courts. Without the pushback by the legislative branch, there is limited recourse for the executive beyond getting to the point of ignoring the judicial
branch as a whole.
The best answer to help fight this is to actually impeach some of these judges due to judicial malpractice and begin putting forth legislation to reign in the power of the judiciary. This would then force the SC to reign in the lower courts before the legislative branch curtails their powers significantly.
Right now, the third branch is not checking the power of the judiciary as it interferes with its other co-branch of the government. Until it does, the SC has little call to action to motivate them for an abrupt fix and instead can work via this current pace until they are forced to rule otherwise.

Judges obviously decided Trump shouldn’t be president.
Even though "The People" voted for him and what he stands for.
These elites think they are saving all us idiots from our own decisions.

On my drive up to Nashville today the radio was talking about the reason they are bringing back up this Dobbs leak thing is because Roberts might have been part of the leak - which * could make a case for impeachment *
Not sure whether Robert’s was complicit or not. The leak came from his assistant, Sheldon Snook. It is the worst leak in SCOTUS history, by a wide margin.
Snook is married to Mary McCord , who is at the epicenter of every Lawfare attack organized to date against candidate and president Trump. She is a major player in the IC, has close relationships with Boasberg, Comey, Wray, …. and Roberts.

The almighty Judiciary was fine with Biden opening our Border for what is essentially an invasion and “fundamental transformation” of of our Constitutional Republic Nation. And they knew it and the people know it. That is Treason by the letter of the law. And Hillary said that “we’ll all hang in a noose”. And yet we dance around the ‘legalize’ table like Bill Clinton’s “it all depends on what the meaning of the word ‘is’, is”. One thing is for sure, they can’t make numbers lie and the inevitable collapse of the USD via the spending required to subsidize all of the immigrants and the DEI narrative will assure that it won’t be Judges in robes that determines the ultimate outcome. Egalitarian Collectivism vs Individualistic Capitalism via the Constitutional Republic. One or the other goes away.

Seems his powers are limited, so your entire premise is incorrect from the start.
