Asked him about Tucker interviewing Putin and why it was different than when other journalists did. He proceeded to call me stupid and said he made a new years resolution to not tolerate stupidity.

Dude used to be super conservative, but I guess 15 years working for the government will turn the best of them.

I told him he sure has gotten a lot less tolerant now that he joined the party of tolerance.

Some quicker than others but 15 years behind the curtain tends to lead one to vote and think solely of their best interests... being a government employee those interests tend to lean very left...

No one in the government should be allowed to vote.

Write him off as a friend cause he is an enemy to America.

A friendship based on only being agreeable to everything is not really a true friendship.

In the long run doesn’t sound as if you will have lost too much.

Doesn't sound like he was much of a friend to begin with.

Sad to see friendships end over politics. I try to avoid discussing politics with family or friends and never have issues.

I have a feeling they know where your politics lie.

Your response should be: 'Give me a reason why I'm wrong.'
If he does, then respond with your arguments.
If he refuses, then say 'Ah, you're too stupid to support your position.'

IRL debates with liberals are a lot of fun. My philosophy has always been...
'Everyone has a right to their opinion. But if you can't defend it then your opinion is worthless shite.'

that was 100% a one-sided friendship and he didnt feel the same, at least you found out now rather than at a time you need to depend on him for something

And? I have great relationships with my family even though we disagree greatly on politics. We simply don't discuss it. That was my point.

Tucker isn't a journalist.

Fox News again moved to dismiss. The motion argues that when read in context, Mr. Carlson's statements "cannot reasonably be interpreted as facts"

Are you kidding? I know a lot of career civil servants in Louisiana who are conservative.

I don't think opposing Tucker doing the interview is tantamount to being a liberal. However his reaction to you is lame as hell and more in line with modern leftists.

They are not thinking much about the long term. In the end, all this excessive spending is going to end poorly for them as well as nearly all Americans.
