By your standards the police could hassle any law abiding citizen walking down the street while carrying.

There is a photo of the idiot with the gun in his hand while on the ground.

Again, anyone who would resist or pull their weapon while carrying against LEO has a screw loose and gets exactly what they deserve.

It was a good shoot.

His standard includes agitating/getting physical with police.

Where are you getting this "just walking down the sidewalk whistling at the sky" bullshite?

Moral of the story: Don't approach law enforcement officers with a weapon in your hand, especially a firearm

It was an error in judgement and a very unfortunate event.

Really? Just walking down the street?

Are we really doing this Mike Brown/George Floyd shite again where the entire left just collectively pretends these people weren’t violent lunatics?

There is no clear photo showing this definitively.

There are some that indicate (not prove) LEO secured the weapon prior to any shots being fired.

Hence, to bring the thread full circle

No.

If this man was carrying on that street a year ago, he would be alive. The police would have had no reason to “hassle” him.

He must have done something to demand attention, right?

Are you going to answer my question...what happens if Trump pardons the Border Patrol agent?

Every single report was that the protester approached with a firearm that was clearly visible to the agents.

Are people commenting without watching the video? He’s the guy in the middle of the street “directing traffic”. You can see him from multiple angles and his weapon is never revealed. In the pink sweater video, she’s right behind him, filming him and you can’t see his weapon because it’s hidden under his long shirt/ jacket. The only time his weapon is seen is when Grey Jacket man exposes it and retrieves it. Not one officer unholstered their weapon from the initial confrontation all the way to the ground where struggle ensued. The only officer who pulled his weapon was Olive jacket and only after grey jacket revealed the dead guy’s weapon

The dead guy deserves no sympathy. He made the choices he made, but it serves no purpose to make up narratives that simply aren’t true from the images we see

I’m not trying to do anything but determine whether this guy’s death was a crime or something else.

His death was caused by his own fvckuppery. First thing you do when approaching an officer while armed is disclose that fact. Instead, the dumbass jumped into the melee.

Maybe not.

Actively resisting implies an intent to fight……..with a gun in the waist.

I was referring to DHS reports that the protester was brandishing a gun. That seems to be made up. It did not come from the local team.

I didn't see it

Only applies to federal charges and would prohibit a future DEM admin from prosecuting the agents federally.

We got into depth on this recently with the Tina Peters pardon.

Oh it was in the other thread. I was about to link that to show you a thread discussing the state's options and saw your question.

Yeah but of course its in the presentation. Its semantics. Just reading the way you posted it was like the officer was one on one trying to survive. Be honest. I've been there. Lack of training.

ICE removed his LAWFULLY CARRIED gun and then shot him for it.

What WAS he doing?

Being thrown to the ground, staying on the ground, covering up and reactively struggling while officers pummeled him. Some may define that as “resisting arrest“. It’s impossible to lay motionless while being pummeled.
