(CNN) At least six children were killed in shootings across the country over the holiday weekend, sparking calls from officials to end the gun violence plaguing their communities.
The children, ages 6 to 14, were all shot and killed while doing everyday things -- riding in mom's car, walking in a mall, and playing in a yard with their cousins.
Secoriea Turner, 8, Atlanta
In Atlanta, eight-year-old Secoriea Turner, was sitting in a car with her mother and another adult when gunshots rang out Saturday night on University Ave SW near I-75/85 Saturday night.
As the driver tried to pull into a parking lot on Pryor Road, near where Rayshard Brooks died at the hands of police, someone opened fire on the vehicle, police said. . . .

Those black lives didn’t matter.
That frustrates me to no end. I support the message, not the messenger.

It's amazingly sad that that there are six kids dead due to gun violence in one weekend, but that won't be the priority of groups like BLM and liberals moving forward.

Their lives mattered less bc they had the audacity not to die at the hands of a white police officer.
Right, leftist filth? That's the narrative to which y'all desperately adhere.

Were the guns legally owned or illegally owned?

This inclusion was absolutely vital to the article.

All lives don’t matter until black lives matter. I wish they would get there fricking shite together so my life can matter.

Is it only me that notices when it's black on black crime, the blame is placed on guns and not on cultural issues, but when it's white on black crime, the blame is placed on the system and not on guns?

This is the main reason why I don't give one tin shite about Black Lives Matter as a movement. If they stopped killing themselves, particularly when it's children through shootings and abortions, I might care. Until these issues are addressed and fixed, I'll give the cause the attention it deserves, which is little.

Last year, St.Louis had like 20? children under 10 get shot and killed by gang bangers/thugs. And were not talking about drive bys, bullets hit them, were talking about being targeted with their parents.
Not a peep.
There is a local dude, Black guy who really gives a shite, and tries anything and everything he can to get the violence to stop, but the problem is, in Cities like St.Louis/Chicago/etc, i believe the Clergy are benefiting from the gangs, and covering for them. Everytime i see him on TV, pouring his heart out, it is kind of sad, that you know, as soon as several leave his presser, Meal/event, some one in that audience will go out and kill some one.
he refuses to quit trying, but he's losing the losing battle.

The 8 year old boy was killed by a stray bullet from a shootout in the freaking Galleria mall.
