So they don't make anything...
They just add a margin and sell it...
So production cost in Asia is $55 margin is $74
US manufacturing would bring it to $175
So a US manufacturer could produce it with their expected profit at that number + shipping.
Also I think this proves no one needs that stupid showerhead.

Those factories that make shite for Shein and Temu make the shite that winds up on the shelf at Walmart and the dollar stores, well......a lot of other places, too. It is the same cheap shite in different packaging with a different name just marked up a couple hundred percent.

We raised prices on a few items by a couple bucks, kept some the same, and dropped a few that wouldn’t work.
Retailers aren’t going to just accept price hikes, and they also don’t have more dollars to spend.
SHEIN sells direct, they can do whatever they want. They have opened a marketplace where they want sellers to sell on their platform like Amazon, too.

Remember they were using a loophole on size of order to by-pass tariffs. That was eliminated. And now they have trumps punitive tariff added.

I'd like to buy American, but at $100 more, that's a pretty big difference in price for something of that price range. Get to me on clothing that's about $3-5 more and that's pretty much a given.
