Several polls had Edwards around 47%

Some assumed he’d get four or five percent of the undecideds to nail down the election. That was pure propaganda.
Rural/white voters turned out; while urban whites and blacks did not. That’s what I’m reading.
Turnout is everything in these close races. Conservatives need to stick together, don’t let the trolls pit us against each other. We have a huge opportunity here to make a statement. Let’s not fumble it away.
The Dems will play dirty, watch for way more negativity now. Their boy is bleeding, they will use everything they have and then some to pull this out.
Friends on the right, please vote and vote often. This is a La. tradition.

What would you say was the "dirtiest" ad during the primary?

I didn’t see any dirty ads.
Gumbo PAC had several misleading ones as did Rispone.
The dirt will fly now though. The lawyers and nursing home folks aren’t quitting.

The Anderson/sexual harassment ad against JBE wasn't dirty or misleading? But the anti-Rispone ads were?

Like Rispone played fair. Double standards already

1- Rispone’s souped up Gumbo PAC anti Abraham with added Pelosi bits.
2- “Phony Eddie Rispone”
3- JBE “bragging” about his low unemployment numbers, but hiding the fact that his job losing economy only has low unemployment because workers are fleeing his job killing rule.

All polls are shite.
Didn't 2016 teach you that?

So you’re saying that JBE didn’t hire a multiple #metoo accused sexual harasser?!

Anybody need any other reason than this to vote against JBE- LINK
It's stupid for anyone to vote on a state office based on what a president or former president has to say about them.

Many people will vote for Edwards BECAUSE of that, unfortunately

Well not complete propaganda. A lot of those polls had follow up questions that showed ~1/2 the undecideds voting for JBE.
Apparently that was wrong. That was what screwed up my predictions.

And they were presented out of context.
It blew up in their faces.

Juanita Washington, who accused Johnny Anderson of sexual harassment, speaks out about ordeal
BY SAM KARLIN | STAFF WRITER PUBLISHED OCT 8, 2019 AT 8:08 AM | UPDATED OCT 8, 2019 AT 4:04 PM From the Advocate.com
“She appeared in a striking TV ad produced by Truth in Politics and released last week that hammers Edwards for his hiring of Anderson, despite allegations of sexual harassment made a decade prior at Southern University.”
Should JBE have known Johnny #metoo Anderson had sexual harassment issues?
Woman who accused Gov. Edwards' aide Johnny Anderson of sexual harassment speaks out
Julia O'Donoghue, NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune AUG 24, 2018 - 4:02 PM
“Edwards in December said he hired Anderson because Anderson had denied any sexual harassment ever took place when he worked for Blanco and an investigation a decade ago couldn't prove the allegations were true.”
Now that’s a glowing endorsement to put a man in your cabinet to “handle women’s issues”!
Zero tolerance,

No one is talking about this but the Republicans won over 100 seats previously occupied by Democrats and/or Independents in this weekends election across the state. This is an enormous swing for the GOP in Louisiana but it also speaks volumes about how screwed the Democrats are going to be in the 2020 elections.
Louisiana's Republican turnout was up 84% last weekend versus the 2015 election. The Democrats only went up 36%.
Registered Republicans in Louisiana have increased by 104,972 since 2015 and the Democrats have lost 74,713 registered democrats during the same time period.

Lol watch the ad. It covers a lot more than Edwards firing.
And glosses over the fact that as soon as the complaint was made, Edwards made sure he was gone.
Or the fact that this led to sweeping changes in State Government harassment policies, which were supported and led to the endorsement of JBE by Ms. Washington's attorney.

Democrats are petrified of either of those happening. JBE being tied to Obama is a loser. Rispone being tied to Trump is a winner.
It's understandable why you want to paint either as "stupid".
